hi friends,

i'm really sorry but i have some unfortunate news with the shang-chi reaction.

i just finished watching it about an hour ago and had a great time, but as i went to upload the files to my editor, i found that somehow instead of recording both my reaction and the movie, the movie recording had overwritten my reaction. meaning my entire reaction for the 2 hours was not recorded.

i did my research and unfortunately there is no way to recover it.

i had the thought that i could re-watch it again, but that would actually be my third time watching it since i did see this movie when it was in theatres (one of the few marvel movies i've seen before i started a channel.)

during my reaction today i even made some predictions that i did not realize i remembered, even if it was subconsciously. therefore, i really don't think me watching it for the third time would be genuine, and i always want to be transparent and genuine for all of you.

i don't think i'll be re-watching this movie for a video :( it was an amazing movie.

i'll be typing up my thoughts on it for saturday since there were obviously a lot of things i noticed or realized this time around watching that i didn't know the first time, but there won't be a video :(

i'll also plan on talking about it in the beginning of my next marvel movie reaction too.

i'm sat here absolutely devastated that my recording did not work. i'm really sorry if i've let anyone down, but i hope you all can understand. <3

It is always a bummer to lose work, but don't worry about "letting down" anybody. & frankly, it's not a "load bearing" movie for the franchise. I appreciate the fresh takes, & I can imagine how frustrating it is for binary hiccups to get in the way.

Happens to the best of us! I’m sorry it felt bad. Don’t worry about us.
