Another wonderful reaction, Emme. I believe your grimacing, wincing, and cringing during the scene of Homelander just before we meet Ashley again speaks for all of us. And while I agree with you that Hughie doesn't deserve Starlight after continuing to lie to her, I do feel bad for him. He is taking to heart what MM told him about him putting her in more danger and he's trying to avoid that. But by not being truthful, he is not giving her the opportunity to choose for herself whether she is willing to take additional risks, and that's not for him to decide. Thank you again for all of your amazing content.

Yeah, I thought he was also worried that if he tells her, her head might just explode since he (nor no one else) knows how that happened. I'd be like, "If I tell her on the phone, will that trigger someone's head to explode?!"
