You have to remember that both Jedi and Din Djarrin's (sp?) mandalorians are religious sects. They both have very strong, rigid belief systems in order to belong. They have to follow them strictly or they're out. Remember, all Jedi are taken from their families at young ages and tend to never see them again. (Let go of attachments, etc.) This is why Luke made Grogu choose and this is why the Armorer told Din he's not a mandalorian anymore, unless he goes through the ancient ritual to redeem oneself. You said they should come up with a new way to redeem oneself since Mandalore is, supposedly, destroyed and not an option. Sure, but how quickly have you seen religions change their rules? Let's just say you can't hold your breath waiting for any religious order to change their ways of doing things, especially when they've been doing them this way for centuries. Religions tend to not be as flexible as non-religious since, in the religions, they believe in the rituals that make up their religions. I don't know, maybe that's why they call them "orders?" I thought it was funny that you said that you thought it was odd that Bo Katan gave up so easily...after she'd been fighting for so long. That sort of contradicts itself, but she is definitely depressed, understandably, after losing everything she'd fought to build up for years. Right now, she doesn't see a path forward so, I guess, she just sits.
