hi everyone happy july!!!

here is the schedule for this week! we are nearing the END of season 2 daredevil which is WILD. continuing season 1 of boba fett and jessica jones as well!

looking forward, i've been told that i need to watch the Defenders in between s2 and s3 of daredevil. but does that also have to wait until the end of jessica jones s1??

if so, then maybe i can hold off on that and start agents of shield until i can watch that and come back to them?

let me know what you think!

have a great week and happy 4th fellow americans!

Hi Emme, I haven't seen more than you regarding the older Netflix Marvel series at this point, so I can't really say anything about that. I have seen all but the last seasons of Agents of Shield and I must say that although I really love this series, I is a big undertaking with 130+ episodes in total. Also, not confirmed, it is not official part of the MCU, so although the first season where made in parallel with MCU movies, the last season are not and most characters are not in other MCU projects. That all said, personally I still love this show dearly!

Yes, The Defenders is after Jessica Jones S1. I believe it was DD S1, JJ S1, Luke Cage S1, Iron Fist S1, DD S2 and then The Defenders. I don't know if you're planning on watching the other two series. It's up to you. Netflix rushed production on Iron Fist and the first season didn't turn out great. He's a cool character in the comics and it was a shame they fumbled the series, although S2 is MUCH better. In the comics Luke Cage and Iron Fist are best friends. I don't believe there's anything in Luke Cage that directly pertains to stuff in The Defenders, but there is stuff about The Hand in Iron Fist S1. Luke Cage S1 does go into how he became that way and a bit about his wife, whom you've also seen in Jessica Jones. Again, it's all up to you whether you want to react to them.

The first 2 seasons of Agents of SHIELD follow the MCU at the time and have episodes relating to the big events at the time, but from S3 and on, it diverges because Marvel Television was run by a different person than Kevin Fiege and Marvel Studios/Disney, I think, got rid of that person and dissolved Marvel Television. There were a few Marvel Television series on different networks and after that, they cancelled them all and took the rights back, I believe. Not sure about all the legalities. I remember Agent Carter and AoS on ABC, Freeform had "Cloak and Dagger" and, I believe "The Runaways" but they might've been on Hulu. I forget which channel "Helstrom" aired on. It was a horror show (which I still need to finish). Netflix, of course, have the four main ones I mentioned above and The Defenders. I THINK that's it... There was also another show that...we won't mention 'cause it's best forgotten. xD

Its better to finish Jessica Jones first. The Defenders brings together the casts of four shows, so seeing (or not seeing) Jessica’s supporting characters in it will remove some suspense from her show. Watching Luke Cage and Iron Fist first would make it more interesting when the characters all meet in the Defenders. But if those shows don’t interest you, perhaps just get a recap from You Tube or Chat GPT to get familiar their stories. Or there is probably a Pitch Meeting or Honest Trailer. You reacting to Pitch Meetings of stuff would be fun

"The Defenders" takes place after the first season of "Jessica Jones", yes

Yes to Agents of Shield! It's a fantastic show

Ruben

There a very few reactors on YouTube now that have reacted to Agents of Shield and/or Agent Carter so it would be great if you started reactions to one or both of them.

Kenny Lam

Yes I agree with you. I love the series but it way too long and would be a big task to react to. Especially since it doesn’t really connect to the MCU. Heck, all the other Netflix series besides Daredevil don’t connect at this point.

I’ll always just say “Lost” hehe…

She still has the Marvel Disney+ shows to react to after she gets to Endgame and Ashoka so maybe after all that.
