Fun fact the Punisher first appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man #129 (1974) with an iconic cover that implies, the Punisher is targeting Spider-Man. He later got his own solo comics in the five part story The Punisher (1986) something very common with characters introduced in other hero's comic books. They'll usually show up as side characters, team ups, or cameos first for a good number of years and then get their solo run. It's similar to how the MCU for example has characters like War Machine but he doesn't have his own show or movie. So Punisher does have a connection with Spider-Man who also has a connection with Daredevil with all three being New York based Street "hero's" often working together. Would be a dream to see this in live action a crossover between Daredevil, Punisher and Spider-Man.
