I can't get over how they discarded this great character for a cheap shocking moment. It would have had more impact and room for character development if Fisk killed Ben's wife instead. Ben Urich is an integral member of the Marvel street-level characters. He has connections to Nick Fury. He's actually the narrator of the best Daredevil story and he's a big part of the best Spider-Man comic series, Ultimate Spider-Man.

Can't wait for Season 2, well the first few episodes. I personally don't really care for Season 2 beyond the first few episodes but Season 3 picks up again and is on the same level as the first Season even surpassing it. Season 2 for me is a little mixed but not awful just was a little disappointed.

Great reaction, Emme... Comic book readers were shocked by Ben's death. Ben Urich is an important character in the Daredevil lore.

True but if Ben didn’t die I feel putting Fisk away wouldn’t have had the same impact that the final episode delivers on lol. All Fisk really did before was kill an old lady the main characters cared about

I disagree. Fisk can come after them and the people they care about. It would have been a great opportunity to break and develop Ben's character. Maybe he could have waited until season 3 to show back up again. The grizzled old "detective," very noir and would fit the show. Welp. Coulda, shoulda, woulda. I just hope the MCU can have a Ben Urich. He could tie so many other characters together in a non-cosmicy way.
