This was one of my favourite Rebels episodes as well. I just started reading 'Heir of the Empire' (first book in the Thrawn trilogy) and Rukh is a male Noghri, which are bodyguards in the book. As I understand it Rukh is the only (personal) bodyguard/assassin of Thrawn at this moment in time.

Not sure if anyone ever pointed this out but Yavin is where Leia takes Han and Luke to plan for the Death Star attack run in A New Hope. It also shows up in Rogue One where they take Jyn.
