I love the fact that despite the differences between Mando and his brethren that no matter what they've got each others backs! Brothers and sisters may fight, but at the end of the day, they're still family. 😃❤️😃❤️😃❤️‍🔥 (That's a beautiful lesson)

The old "surviving getting shot because you had something in your pocket" is a tried and true trope of the Western genre...seen it many times with bibles or badges saving the persons life. Makes even more sense in this scene with the fancy Beskar metal.

2023-02-23 02:15:28 Here's some fun facts for ya: - The big Mando in blue that helps our Mando is named Paz Vizsla. He's the descendant/relative of Pre Vizsla, who you should remember from the Clone Wars (he got beheaded by Darth Maul and lost the darksaber). AND, he's voiced by the same guy -- Jon Favreau, who is not only one of the creators & directors of this show, but is also Happy Hogan in the Avengers/Iron Man movies! - Mandalorian culture is absolutely FASCINATING to me. They're incredibly straight forward and to the point, they're blunt, they're gruff, but they have a really strong sense of community and collectivity. They might not agree on everything (they've literally had hundreds of civil wars amongst themselves), but they will ALWAYS protect other Mandalorians. - Deborah Chow, who directed this episode, was also the director of the Obi-Wan Kenobi series. - The armor that our Mando's suit is made of is called "beskar'gam" or just beskar. It's an incredibly protective material that has some... interesting properties, that may or may come up in later episodes... (:

Mathies

The Mandalorians ended up helping him because he turned against the empire that they all despise because the empire "destroyed our home"

Mathies

well, either they protect other mandalorians, or they fight eachother. like Sabine was saying in the latest Rebels episode.
