Seeing all the scarped Venator-class Star Destroyers makes me really sad just hits off the feeling that the Clone Wars is over and now we're in the Reign of the Empire Era of the Galaxy. Same feeling I had with the opening of Jedi Fallen Order which is set just 4 years after Bad Batch. Unclear when the Imperial Class Star Destroyer first came into service (Ship featured in the Original Trilogy, Solo, Rogue One, Obi Wan, Rebels) but in Legends there was a ship called the Victory Class Star Destroyer that was active at the end of the Clone Wars and served with the early Empire. It looks very similar to the Imperial Star Destroyer in design just smaller so it would be cool if Bad Batch brought the Victory into canon as an early Imperial Star Destroyer named after the victory of the Clone Wars and the defeat of the Jedi. Season 1 is a bit early for that though so maybe Season 2 or Season 3 they'll introduce stuff like the Victory and who knows maybe even an early Tie Fighter. Awesome to see Cad Bane again voiced once again by Corey Burton who is also the voice of Count Dooku, Ziro the Hutt and Cad Bane. Brainiac in the DC animated universe, Spike Witwicky and Shockwave in the Transformers Universe, and as Captain Hook in Disney's Return to Never Land and some other smaller roles in animation. People were unsure if Cad Bane was alive post Clone Wars as from my knowledge he doesn't appear in anything after Order 66 so people assumed he just died sometime in the Clone Wars. So it's nice seeing him alive with his last canonical appearance being an unfinished episode where he duelled against Boba Fett sometime around Season 7.
