So Project War-Mantle was actually mentioned in Rogue One within the data vault on Scarif. The other projects were Project black-saber, interesting and of course Project Stardust this being the plans for the Death Star. Finally with Bad Batch we are introduced to what Project War-Mantle is about, Creation of an Imperial Army with conscripted and willingly recruited human soldiers overtime phasing out the Clones. The recruits wear Elite Squad Trooper armour, pretty much just blacked out Clone armour with a green visor. it heavily reminds me of Shadow troopers from the Empire who were elite and highly trained stormtroopers who wore black suits of experimental Armor coupled with portable cloaking devices, rendering them almost completely invisible. Have never appeared in live action but did first appeared in Star Wars Battlefront from 2015. Also fun detail but that ship used by the Rebels is a LAAT/le patrol gunship a civilian model of the LAAT/i gunship which you've seen throughout the Clone Wars dropping off Clones and getting shot down. It was designed for crowd control, gunship was fast, maneuverable and armed with light but efficient weaponry, making it ideal for law enforcement and was pretty much used as a Police gunship. It first appeared in the later seasons of Clone Wars, saw Anakin and a few Clones in one when looking for Ahsoka when she was on the run. It was also used by the Empire as will appearing in the opening of Jedi Fallen Order.
