hi friends!

i just thought i'd make a post here since i keep getting questions across the board about serenity and when i will be watching it and instead of answering everywhere hopefully this post will be visible and get the word across.

i was unfortunately spoiled on deaths in the movie in my youtube comments before my moderators were able to see it and delete it.

every movie i've watched for the first time i've gone in blind with no idea of what happens. reading these spoilers really has affected my motivation to watch it for the current time because as im sure you all can imagine, it spoils the experience of a first time watch. i am not saying no to the movie forever, but i do want to make clear i really can't see myself watching this movie for the foreseeable future. it's just something i want to get over so that when i do watch it, i can fully enjoy it rather than thinking of how someone spoiled it.

i hope yall understand, and i am sorry to disappoint! unfortunately youtube comments can be awful sometimes, and in this instance i feel it prevents my enjoyment of it for the time being. again, not a no forever, but i really don't know when i will get around to it so wanted to be transparent if you are here waiting for that, i cannot guarantee a timeline.

thank you!

I’m not too sure how to feel about this announcement: on the one hand I empathise with the commenter situation, on the other I wonder why the reaction was delayed originally? If Emme was spoiled during her original reaction series why only tell us now, after waiting months?? The twists have definitely been spoiled and maybe time heals all wounds, I just think it should have been recorded as part of the original series for this exact reason. Not sure how anyone avoids spoilers while reading comments…

tahts sad, but be assured the deaths are not rly importent for teh whole story and knowing about them wont effect the movie much

yeah i've had some things like in videogames spoiled for me but it's more about the journey to it, just need some time for now

It's because I am and was involved in other movie series, and promised other movies before I even started Firefly. This also happened only a couple weeks ago, so I told you guys fairly quick. I don't really see the productivity in a should've/could've/would've comment/critique.
