just posting here since i am nearing the end of season 2 doctor who and want to prepare for what's next: either to get into season 3 doctor who or react to torchwood!

Yes yes yes, trust me it's a bit of a slog and dated especially season 1 but in the end it's sooo worth it. You'll probably hate msor characters but youll love them when you least expect it! Season 3 of Torchwood especially is some of the best writing Doctor Who has had! You don't need to watch it to watch doctor who but trust me, it only enhanced the experience and you'll be thanking yourself for sticking through it eventually.
