here is my timed  reaction to doctor who season 2 episode 4 "the girl in the fireplace"

what a CREEPY and also emotionally eerie? episode. it seems like we dive more and more into the emotions each episode.

this episode breaks me every time. There is an extra minisode i recommend watching for this episode called , https://youtu.be/seNAqQ4gzn0 its honestly sad for me too but horrifying also. the whole concept is just heartwrenching

This episode was written by Stephen Moffat who is the showrunner for seasons 5-10 (he also wrote The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances). One of my favorite things about the episodes he writes is that he really plays with the idea of time travel. Sometimes space/time travel is just a vehicle to a location for the interesting story and sometimes space/time travel is part of the plot. I think the magic of Doctor Who really shines in the latter.
