here is my timed reaction to doctor who season 1 episode 13 "the parting of ways"

WOW, i really was crying throughout this one. it was so sad to say goodbye to the first doctor :( although i am looking forward to what's to come for sure!

Always a fun time for a Nuwhobie (I think I might be makin that word up on the spot) to experience their first regeneration. Sad and happy times as we cherish the old Doctor and welcome the new one. Learning that this show, in part, is about rebirth as well as the exploration of ideas. Always an emotional time. Now is the time that Nuwho beginners learn that this is the same character from the very beginning. 9 becomes 10 and series 2 expands in it's references to Classic as well as continuing to create new stories for this NuWho regeneration.

i feel like christopher eccleston is very underappreciated in some areas, i absolutely loved him as the doctor, season 2 with him would have been so good too. tennant will blow you away at points though just a warning, he put his all into this role.
