guys you know whats gotten to me this year alone

i havent done much R18 at all this year. im feeling that im doing something wrong or something right, its a really confusing i had took, i went from r18 to going soft nowadays

maybe the pressure is getting into me with the presence ihave built in my social media. tell me guys what should i do at this stage, i just need some advice from you guys, not the twitter or anything

At the end of the day decide what you personally feel is more fun. I for one loved your r18 stuff a lot more than todays stuff, they are quality wise really good but content wise they don't do it for me as much as your old stuff. Think I read in the past that you got twitter comments of people flaming you for drawing their waifu sexually and that's why you felt pressured into softening up? Idk if that's true but listen fuck social media it's a bunch of normie retarded snowflakes that will go off on anything. Don't try to keep up with cringetards and do whatever you feel like is fun (keep the shota+ara ara combination tho)

In all honesty, I would like to see more of of your r18/nsfw stuff. The nsfw stuff is what got me to admire you the most alongside the sfw stuff. So if it's possible, please do more r18 content since a good chunk of us all like your nsfw content.

To be honest, I understand the pressure from SJW in Twitter and Facebook, they bitch about everything. I don't really mind whether you draw NSFW or SFW, they're all art to me. Just doing what you love, but do be careful cause ppl have been reported for posting censored NSFW18+ art on Facebook.

As the others were saying. You should do what you prefer and enjoy. Do what you want and what you get most fun off. It's all thaz matters. You should not bend to one way or the other if it doesn't pleases you or doesn't feels right. Draw what ever you enjoy. You will always have people hating you and loving you for what you do. Whatever it is. So why not make it enjoyable for yourself? =)

You could separate safe and R18. Makes sense that safe is more presentable to the public while R18 is more of a hidden gem. Patreon is great for R18 as most people here are looking for gems unlike twitter passerbys. I believe R18 is kinda difficult. A lot of conventions won't allow them, advertisement is tricky, and people are less inclined to buy due to peer pressure. Despite this, R18 that do make it to market are rare sought out gems; doujins, comiket, R18 art books. Doing safe feels "right" because it's doing you good; more exposure, books, art booths, presentable to public. That said you should try publishing R18. Its hard and won't get easy coverage but some of your hardcore fans would probably kill to get some. While drawing safe is always a good idea, you should try making a gem. After all you owe it to your roots.

And you should decide what you want to create. I like all your drawings. Yes, I became your patreon as I saw your NSFW drawings. But I appreciate your current work as well, too. I really like them. it gotten harsher as the fanbase grew overtime, and i can feel some of it nowadays. its really hard to put an r18 table only to get reported and stay blank for day or 30day ban :( but you have a good idea with that separation of account, i wonder if theres a good site out there i can migrate other than twitter or facebook

To be honest I only support you for your R18 works, as the lewdness from your drawings is something I really enjoy and want to try draw in the future... Despite your SFW is god tier as well, it simply wasnt what I was interested and I was a little let down on the lack of mature content. But I think as an artist you should just draw whatever you enjoy, don't let twitter or facebook fans affects your drawing directions. I think proper fans will be enjoy whatever you draw, be it SFW or NSFW, so just do whatever ideas you enjoy drawing! What matters most is your own enjoyment when you work on the drawings!

Love both your SFW and NSFW art. I miss the girls doing sexy time but if you choose to draw only SFW art I'll still stick with you. Do what makes you fulfilled and happy cause you're an artist. We are not your bosses, we are your fans. We can only suggest but not tell you what to do. Have you tried Discord? It's a pretty easy way to communicate with the community. They're cool with NSFW stuff on their platform. Most of the artists I know that do NSFW artworks are there.

I’ve bought your doujin book, thereare only one NSFW work but I still love this book. Your SFW works not only nice body girls but also have interesting situations and cute facial expression. It’s not easy to draw like this, but you did it and done pretty well. So if you want walk on SFW way, I still be your patreon. I love everything you do. Whether its SFW or NSFW, i don't mind it at all. What's really kept me going at this is that you once said you would make a Part 2 of "Hyperlewdimension Neptunia" but i have yet to see it fulfilled. That's the only reason i've stuck around because i've been looking forward to it and i feel as though you have forgotten. I was once trying to ask if you do commissions so that i may commission all of Part 2 you planned to do, but i've gotten no response. I've grown to love your art, so i am here to stay even after Part 2. Do what you think is best for you. It is not wrong to do SFW for awhile and then go back to NSFW. If you must, do SFW one month, and NSFW the next and make it a pattern. During holiday months such as Halloween, Christmas, or Thanksgiving, change it up and allow your audience to choose which work you should do and the next holiday month, do the opposite of the previous holiday month. If they ask for SFW on Thankgiving, do NSFW on Christmas and so on. It will all depend on when you decide to hold the holiday poll. Other than that, i only await Part 2 of Neptunia. And if you have no plans for it anymore, allow me to commission all that you had planned before. There is nothing more i love than fanart of Neptunia, both SFW and NSFW. I'd like to know what your plans are for Part 2 either publicly or privately, if at all possible. Thank you and keep working hard.

I loved your r18 works since a year ago , but after you started getting more followers on twitter you went soft. I love your art and always will but paying for mostly sfw content isnt what I supported you for. If going soft is what you want to do you already have a fanbase that supports it , if you want to do more r18 art you have your older fans and newer ones to support you as well. With how popular I feel you cant go wrong with either, you can also make r18 works only on patreon or pixiv and keep your twitter followers intact. Just dont let those twitter idiots that are too sensitive get to you much love man

I would say do what floats your boat and dont lose your creativity maybe try making some new characters (and here some random catfish idea) build your own castle/fort/lair and fill it with people that may life/serve there, something like the evil lord that has his castle filled with monsters and slaves; or a the ara ara queen that has her unique tastes; the god of the wild who has his shrine in a secret forest (i think stuff like this would be fun to do) but just like i said its a me idea so it might be not to your taste just do something you enjoy *or always wanted to try ^^

Oh! Great had a similar transition in his life, and I heard that he once said that he "found himself unable to do lewds anymore", something about that being the "providence of the young". At the end of the day, you're drawing beautiful work and your fans still love it; while I personally would sorely miss your lewds (and I know a number of others would too), I think it's best for artists of your caliber to produce what feels best/right to them, lest the fall into the trap of soul-less commercialism.

Firstly, fuck those idiots on Twitter and Tumblr for harassing you. They have no right to judge who you should lewd and vice versa. You have every right as an artist to draw what you want. I've always liked your R18 art without exception. To me, that's that makes you "hews," so to speak. I believe that you should follow your heart, but resist those that try to debase or criticize your work because it's not up to THEIR standards. They aren't the ones trying to make a living off art— you are, and you have every right to create what you want.

An artist should always be allowed to express themselves, no matter what people think. Idc if you like loli, furry, whatever. Even if it's not for me, I'm glad an artist is out expressing themselves. An artist shouldn't change or make something because the audience *wants* something from them. Not to say to keep the audience out of your mind since they are who you want to appeal to and they give you work and pay but you should be able to express yourself however you want. If adjusting your art to appeal more is what's needed and what you want to do so be it, if you want to be more destructive and change it until you find something that really expresses yourself, do it, even if people dislike it. I like art based on quality or content (the content is what matters more than the quality), you happen to provide both. The lewd are a bonus. I'd like to see them since it's nice to look at but only make that content if you WANT to, and this coming from another artist/ I'm going to do things people won't like, and idc. I have a message and I have things I like to make. I supported for the NSFW stuff initially. Some of the less explicit material has been fun as well, so I would personally advocate for a mix of each going forward. I can't Twitter worth a damn so have no advice for social media problems.

I'll admit, I did support initially for the NSFW you've done, especially the xb2 set you did. But I don't mind that you've taken this route, since it's still your work and still always good. The first arts I saw from you were kind of kinky, but mostly cool artworks and I thought "this artist has some potential", then the NSFW started to araise, and I was pleased with that because it was good, I hoped to see some of my waifus drawn by you I held hopes several times that by any chance you decided to pick them to work your magic because I don't have that much money to pay for commissions. Sorry to say this hewsie but I quit a couple of months ago, partly due to personal financial circumstances but mostly because of your direction as of late. You were the first one I supported and I never thought it would come to this. I've seen this "stagnation" of patreons too many times where their once hobby becomes just "work" and their art diversity deteriorates compared to their old "free" days. In my eyes SFW art is a waste of your talent and not something I look forward to - never have - never will. If you're getting too much social pressure from certain "warriors" - shut them down or ignore them - only idiots judge things that aren't meant for them. As others have suggested you could always spawn an alter ego specializing in hardcore. When that time comes I'll be happy to support you again. Good luck.

It really does feel like a lot of artists or creators feel pressured by the social media or simply the fear/worry about not pleasuring pareons. Yes we paid you, but that doesn't mean you should intentionally try to create something you think we would like. Instead, you should continue to draw something you like. Patreons will continue to support you if they like your art, and for those who doesn't like the direction or only like lewd stuff will pick their way. I've seen several artists that stress themselves out to the point of quitting, and that really makes me upset because things shouldn't be like this. I want to support them simply because I like their art and hope they will keep on drawing as an artist. Seeing them quit just makes me feel like supporter's love wasn't enough for them to feel it. They should keep create works they enjoy, and people who shares the same taste will support. Personally though, I don't mind your SFW arts because I just love your works either way. However, I do like your NSFW better because hell yea why not.

As an artist the most important thing is that you enjoy the work you create. You built your following because people enjoyed the art that came from you first, not themselves. If you are changing directions in order to appease people and not drawing what you, as the artist, enjoy then you will just burn yourself out. It will no longer be art. It will become work that you don't enjoy. You have to realize that the world is full of many people and you can never make everyone happy so you should focus on your own vision and look for the people who share that vision rather than trying to change yourself to fit around other people. If you're not drawing lewds because that's what YOU want and that makes YOU happy then continue to do so. If drawing lewds is what YOU enjoy then do so. Anyone who would harass you or try to force you to draw something(or not draw something) that you want doesn't care about you. One potential solution you could try to alleviate pressure from twitter and other social media platforms is creating an alternate account specifically for R18 contents so that people who don't want to see it don't have to. If these people go out of their way to find that account and complain then you will know they are just looking to attack you and can be ignored. I feel like the consensus on patreon is that most people enjoy your lewds but you could also try to separate rewards into a SFW and NSFW folder that is downloaded separately.

I love your work Hews, I really do. But as someone who has been subscribed to you for over a year now -- your work has been disappointing. Not in the quality, you're still an amazing artist and I don't regret staying subbed but... I subbed to you because you were one of the best R18 out there. Now there's maybe one cancelled sketch that has some slight nudity? It kinda sucks tbh. Also, going from like 10-20 NSFW to 5 SFW images also sucks. I hope maybe by the end of the year, you'll release some huge set with lots of actual hard r18 content. If not, I'm guessing I'll just cancel my pledge and move it to an actual r18 artist. I'll still support you on social media and stuff, I just don't have tons of money and would obviously wanna get leads for it.

I was subbed for at least a year and unsubbed because your work started to diminish little by little each day. Another thing is, you promised a Part 2 set to the "Hyperdlewdimension Neptunia" and i was specifically looking forward to the Part 2 of that set. I will sub again once i see that you are actually keeping your word and working on it. I have tried to catch your attention and ask you about it but there have been no responses at all. I feel sad that u seem doesn't work too much in r18 artwork nowadays but don't worry if u happy with it don't care the other I was sup ur Patreon since when u it opened. Now it's sad to say but I think I must end ur sup for a while when u come to R18 art again I will come to sup u again. But that doesn't mean I stop follow ur work.
