"You GIVE?!" Gail snapped, hearing a popping noise in Mara's arm. Mara groaned but didn't answer her. "Seriously?! I know this hurts," she scoffed, twisting her hip and putting more pressure on his elbow. 

Mara choked out a response: "Maybe...try somethin' else?" Gail glared at the demon trapped underneath her. "You're so fucking WEIRD," she said with more than a hint of disgust, considering what other grapple holds she could try to get this stupid demon to cry uncle. What was the point of using them as fighting partners if they didn't respond to her techniques?!

From the side lines Devi watched, silent as ever. He didn't understand why, but Mara desired both that human woman and pain, so he was exactly where he wanted to be. He considered for a moment if he should tell Gail this, but thought better of it: no telling how many of his bones she'd break, then.
