Sometimes I start a warm up sketch and I'm like, Hell yeah this is good I like this a lot, but then it slowly becomes apparent that I didn't plan the composition out very well, dang it. This would have been a scene with Big Lust Demon challenging his favorite exorcist pair to last through a private show without coming in their pants, but I didn't do a great job placing bodies on the same plane and things started looking wonky, hhhh (・д・ ) I'm posting the unfinished thing anyway bcs I like Al's face as he's trying to get a good look at our Big Lust Demon and his, uh...tool of the trade, haha.

I learned a long time ago it's okay to abandon a sketch if it's not working out bcs of some fundamental issue - but even the sketch fails are a learning experience! They help me make better art going forward  (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و

Yup. Everyone, whether they're an artist, a writer, a coder, an architect, they get to a point where they're like... wait... damn. I messed up somewhere... ah, well, I'll move on to another project and accept that this mistake taught me something. ... Like the time I designed a low income group home that ended up looking like a swastika from above and it had to be pointed out to me AFTER I posted it. ... Note to self. Check structure to make sure it doesn't look like a dick when seen from above before posting.
