A little shop talk incoming!

You may be aware that we hit the Merch Store goal a little while back, so I started setting up a POD (Print on Demand) store over on Threadless so I could get the official logos up and ready to go first! I had heard a lot of good things about them, and I liked how you could personalize your store front, etc. I ordered a few test items to see how I liked the print quality, and while the stickers/notebook weren't bad, I was super disappointed with the shirts. ( ;•͈́༚•͈̀) The print came out fuzzy despite using the resolution they had recommended, and the badge logo printed way too dark to see any of the details.

What a bummer!

I don't want to put merch out there that I myself wouldn't want, so I'm gonna scrap the Threadless store and go with RedBubble instead. I've recently ordered some artist-made merch from there and the quality was really nice - probably should have just started there and saved myself the trouble, but live and learn I guess!

I'm about to put out a poll to see what kind of merch art you want to see me work on next while I'm getting the POD store situation worked out, so expect that soon. Thanks so much for your patience while I try and make some cool stuff for you! (•́⌄•́๑)૭✧

Not to get too inside baseball here, but what process was the bad using? Screen print? Dye sublimation?

Their FAQ says it's digital printing rather than screen printing, but I'm not sure what that really entails!

Thanks for the shop talk! It's super interesting and useful to know these kinda things! it sucks that it came out fuzzy, cman it can't be too hard if u have a high resolution file.

Sure thing! I'm crossing my fingers that RedBubble will be a lot better ೕ(•̀ᴗ•́)
