December Update Chapter 2 (Patreon)

Howdy y'all, got some exciting news for you. After conferring with the entire team I can confidently say, barring any unforeseen events, that we are looking solid to release Chapter 2 for Patreons last week of December, or First week of January. Public release will be two weeks after that.

But the exciting news isn't stopping there, HAPS has already completed Devon's initial Sprite set, is in the middle of adding more expressions for Aldric, and Vincent. As well as, the CG that he'll be providing is a borderline animatic, featuring six frames (Variations). It's an absolutely fantastic addition to the chapter that I didn't see coming when I proposed the scene to him.

Gojii has completed their foley work and ready to get it into the chapter once I have the code all in.

Chapter 2 is 85% done with editing, and I'm already going through getting it all into code, getting our boys in there.

We have two new BGs by Bork, and should have a total of four by release, in addition to a couple new stock scenes.  My hope is that by the end of Northern Lights, all stock photos will be replaced by illustrated BGs (Even if they're just in one scene), but for now my general rule of thumb is, if a location is visited 3 or more times, it will have an illustrated BG.

I can confirm we should be adding a sprite viewer for Chapter 2, (or incredibly soon after release) HYENABLOOD has made some of the base assets for it, though it is not the main priority for his Chapter 2 work as we finish wrapping up the custom UI (dialogue boxes, preferences screen, buttons, font choice, journal notification and button)

Wattson has added an animated rendering effect to one of Bork's BGs, it will be his code that brings the sprite viewer to life and Jason continues to work on whipping RenPy into shape for some incredibly ground breaking in engine techniques. 

At present Build 2 is just as large as Build 1 (if you factor in the word count addition in 1.5, which not everyone has read). Features our first choice in the game, each with unique scenes and dialogue, several additional journal entries and sketches
