been doing a bit of doodling on the old bamboo tablet today

when drawing on my PC, i've been considering switching back to using a regular pen tablet (not screen tablet) for ergonomics, since using my cintiq at my desk can get uncomfy after long periods. before deciding to buy a new tablet i thought i'd see how comfortable it feels to draw at my desk with this style of tablet by using an older janky one we have lying around. the tablet itself sucks as expected, but my posture was leagues better, my arms were comfortable, and i didn't feel the need to retreat to the couch after a couple hours to get out of my desk chair and away from the giant screen blasting light and heat in my face

so i'd say it's a win for classic tablets! i'll probably get a nicer, newer pentab sometime in the near future. something with a larger size and tilt functionality so i still have my modern comforts. and if i do want to draw on a screen i'll stick to my ipad as i've been doing anyway
