lizard sketchbook scribs (Patreon)

i wanna make it a point to post some doodles at least one day a week. ideally this would be a bigger compilation but i haven't had too much to show because it seems like i finish most of what i start lately? anyway, here's a page from my ohuhu marker sketchbook, where i was breaking in the new paper several days ago and scribbling some blue lizards (from glimmer in spyro 2)

i decided to use this current sketchbook to keep even drawings i don't particularly like, to get real messy on the page and just cut loose with my supplies without thinking 'oh this is something i could publish so i better not mess things up.' i just need to keep in mind that imperfect results don't invalidate the things i have already done that have turned out nice, or things i'll make in the future that will turn out how i want. and the only way to make using my markers and pens feel second-nature is using them a lot, even if that means making mistakes and getting a bit stuck with them. god knows i had that phase with digital art too. but i'd like my marker art to flow just as freely as my digital art so i just gotta keep at it!
