So before I finish out the Clone wars, we decided to do a rewatch of Revenge of the Sith! And oh God it was awesome to watch it this time around with all my new found star wars knowledge. Thank you all for your patience and please give Eric AKA Nerdchronic love. He really went to town on these edits and has done such a wonderful job. I am very thankful to his help in getting these reactions to the Clone Wars out to you all.

As Eric pointed out in the edit, Anakin never meets Grevious in person in the Clone Wars. It's always Grevious and Obi-Wan fighting each other. Anakin is usually in a fighter doing space combat or on another part of the battlefield, or Anakin's just not in the episode. When the Clone Wars writers did the show they had a rule that Anakin and Grevious couldn't meet so to not contradict the movie, and surprisingly it worked.

what about the part where anakin says to dooku "my powers have doubled since last time we fought?"... because of the clone wars the last time they fought was on Oba Diah with the pykes when they discover that he's darth tyranus... this had to be just a few weeks before revenge of the sith, maybe months, so it's impossible for his power to have grown that much in that short of time

It seems like the Clone Wars writers did ignore that particular line. You're right it doesn't make much sense given how many times Anakin faced Dooku.
