I was late getting to these, I've just finished episode five. I was glad to see the "Mark Me" guy at the start of the episode, he always makes you laugh. I liked that scene with Claire, Flora and Jocasta, it sounded like Jocasta had the giggles a little. It's sad that Claire keeps self medicating to deal with her pain. I hate seeing her so hurt. She puts on a brave face and smiles, but there's always a sadness to her now, which is understandable given all she's been through. That scene when Roger catches Malva with Mr. Henderson, she said she would tell everyone she's seen Roger kissing the woman he's been helping, Amy McCallum. Malva is evil, I love when you said she's a witch, an actual witch. All the kindness that's been shown to her and she acts like that. Now Roger won't help Amy, it's sad that Malva has taken that away, all Roger wanted was to help someone in need. There was one good thing to come from it, now he will spend more time with Bree, as he should. It's like Bree said, Amy needs to find a husband of her own, and she won't if Roger is the man of the house. I love what you said at the end "That true love is not about just falling apart without the other person. It's being able to stand on your own. Love yourself, be confident in yourself, be good at things. Have skills and be equal to that person, and that persons the same way, and you lean on each other." I know it's weird when I quote you like this. I just love the way you talk, the way you see things. Beautiful <3

Episode six was wild. I called Malva evil in the last comment, I thought I might have been a little harsh, it turns out I wasn't. That level of scheming, she planned all this from the start, she wanted to learn everything she could from Claire and then take her place. Everything from watching Jamie and Claire together in the barn, poisoning Claire to get her out of the way and sleeping with Mr. Henderson and Ian to get pregnant and then say its Jamie's. Evil! It was cruel when Malva cut Claire's hair, Roger said it made Jamie cry. Maybe it was seeing Claire so weak and frail and seeing her hair so short, he probably felt like he was losing her. Roger told Claire "Nothing could ever make you less beautiful." I like it when Jamie is helping Claire into bed and he asks her if she wouldn't mind wearing a cap until her hair grows out a bit and she says "No, I don't suppose I will." I wonder if people at that time had ever seen a woman with hair that short. They'll probably say it's the haircut of a Witch! Later when Jamie and Claire are in bed she asks him what her most endearing trait is? Jamie says "Above all the creatures on earth, you are faithful." Claire looks at him with that love in her eyes and asks "So are you. It's quite a good thing, isn't it?" After Malva told everyone that she's pregnant Jamie and Claire are outside talking about it and he tells Claire that he has something to tell her. He said "There's no good way to tell your wife you've lain with someone else." For a moment I thought he was gonna say he slept with Malva. I was like, Not Jamie, he would never do that to Claire. He then told her about Mary MacNab, the woman he slept with when Claire was gone. He said it was only once. He still feels guilty. He still feels like he betrayed her. He loves her. It's sad how people are treating Claire right now, she said they won't even look at her. All she does is help people and now they don't want anything to do with her. She'll be the first person everyone runs to when they need help, and she'll still help them. It's what she does. I love what you said about the people that think Jamie slept with Malva, "They're projecting their own things onto Jamie and Claire. What they don't realize is that's not what they are. Jamie is not them. Jamie is different. Jamie is a rarity." You then spoke about that scene of Jamie skipping rocks where he said, "I've always known I've lived a life different from other men. When I was a lad I saw no path before me, I simply took a step and then another. Ever forward, ever onward, rushing toward someplace I knew not where. And one day I turned around and looked back and saw that each step I'd taken was a choice, to go left, to go right, to go forward or even to not go at all. Every day every man has a choice between right and wrong, between love and hate, and sometimes between life and death and the sum of those choices becomes your life. The day I realized that is the day that I became a man." I love what you said about Jamie and Claire being drawn to each other like magnets. "Ever since he was young he's always thought before he made steps. He was always thinking about what he was going to do. Everything in his life he knew there was always a consequence to his action. Whatever he did there was a consequence. So he was always this type of guy and he's been preparing himself without Claire, without even knowing who Claire was. He was preparing himself to just be this man in general and then Claire had also been doing the same thing so when they meet up it's like Whoa! magnetism, there's a magnetism there." It's so beautiful the way you talk. I have to see how this season ends. I'll watch the last two episodes tonight and I'll start season 7 soon. As always Imon, its been a pleasure. Beautiful <3
