Hi Imon, you are so lucky you didn’t have to wait over a year for season 5. Caitriona and Sam became producers of the show this season because they wanted to protect their characters. A lot of people were unhappy with the season 4 finale because it differs somewhat from the book. I loved the opening flashback where we see Murtagh and a young Jamie and they did it so well bringing it back at the end when Jamie had to release Murtagh from his oath I adore the father/daughter scene before the wedding. I love seeing Jamie and Brianna together and during the ceremony when Jamie and Claire remembered their own wedding vows. That really pulled at my heart strings. Jamie is so smart, he knows that the British will be calling on him so he decided to have a gathering like the one Colum had in season 1 where all the men pledged their fealty. The pledge was the same too. This way, all the men will be loyal to him and not the British when the time comes. I love that Jamie had his kilt in his trunk and knew that this was the perfect time to put it on for the gathering to make a statement. We haven’t seen him in his kilt since the scenes on the Culloden battlefield. Sam was really excited to put it on again. The music that you mentioned that was playing while Jamie got his kilt was the same music that they play during season 2 in the episodes leading up to Culloden when Jamie and Claire were preparing the men to fight. I’m also glad they changed Sam’s wig. This one looks so much better than the one from season 4.

I totally agree. I only started watching Outlander during the beginning of the pandemic in 2020, but I've re-watched the entire thing at least 4 times, and many episodes I've re-watched maybe 10-20 times! It's like seeing it all over again when I watch it with a new and awesome person like Imon! You might also enjoy Evie, who reacts to Outlander as well.

I had to laugh when you said something like "I bet this is the only happy episode all season." Well . . .kind of something like that. Yep. It wouldn't be Outlander without a lot of big challenges!

Congratulations on your new place Imon. I love that the first thing you filmed in your new place was Outlander, and what an episode. Roger and Brianna's wedding was beautiful. What a beautiful start to the season. I loved when you said "This is gonna be the only happy episode right? The next twelve episodes will just be bloodshed." I like the scene when Jamie was helping Roger shave, the way he kept grabbing Roger's head. I was unsure how I really felt about Roger but after he pledged his loyalty to Jamie, now I really like him. I love that ring Roger had Murtagh make for Bree, it was beautiful. That scene when Roger is talking to Jamie's aunt, she said she was gonna leave River Run and all it's contents to Jeremiah. She said "I thought if you canna love the lad for himself, you might treat him well for the sake of his prospects." Roger asks her "Are ye sayin' ye think I don't believe that he's my son?" He then tells her "I may not have any property or money, but I have time. And I will give it all to Brianna and Jeremiah. Let me put this very plainly. I do not want your money. My wife does not want your money, and my son will not have it. Cram it up yet hole, aye?" The way you laughed Imon, god you're gorgeous. After the episode ended I went back and watched the start again. Roger and Bree's wedding was really beautiful. I just had to see Jamie walk with Bree again. I love the music that plays, I looked it up it's called The New Fraser's Ridge by Bear McCreary. I had a lot of fun watching this with you Imon. You always make me smile, thank you. You're beautiful, always. <3
