WOW!! I have NEVER seen anyone hate on Roger as much as you lol. I know there are people who are not fans and don’t like him as a character, but I’ve never seen anyone think of Roger as a “bad guy” Yes, he made the mistake of going too fast asking Brianna to marry him, but I understood that he loved her and wanted to be married to her before being intimate together. I never saw that as a red flag like you did though and maybe that is based on our own different experiences. I definitely think he should have told Brianna about the obituary as soon as he found it, in his head, Claire has been dead for 200 years, he loves Brianna and wanted her to have the memory of her mother being reunited with the man she loved, rather than the memory of her mother killed in a fire. I don’t agree with his decision, but I see his thought process. I hate that Brianna told Roger to leave and go back to their own time even though she didn’t want him to go. I hate that Brianna ran into Stephen Bonnet. I always loved the wedding ring that Jamie gave to Claire on the show and now it will always be linked to this horrific event. In the book, Jamie didn’t give her that ring made from his key, at their wedding, he gave her the silver ring. So the TV show runners thought this would be a perfect opportunity for Claire to finally have that silver ring with the engraving, so Jamie had it made for her. On Starz, they have a warning about this episode, but I noticed that Netflix doesn’t. Ahh… season 4…

in defense of Frank, he did not think he was going to die that week. He was hurt and impulsive. He may have eventually had that talk with Claire. And they could have been separated but in a healthier place. We have no idea.

I am laughing so hard at your comments about Roger and about their fake marriage. LOL! "Whatever, I can't get into it." Bwahahaha. I felt the same, Imon. Roger does grow on me in later episodes but I wasn't at all a fan at first either.

Yes, Caitriona Balfe (Claire) was a model for about 10 years but always wanted to act. She finally decided to quit modeling and move to LA and take acting classes to really try to become an actor . She'd only had like a couple of non-speaking roles and maybe a line or two before she auditioned and got Outlander -- so it's amazing that she's so good with that little experience. Of course, she's had years of experience on Outlander now. And a few other roles she took on breaks from Outlander. I think she's amazing!

I don't even know where to start with this episode, at first we see Roger looking for Brianna, he has a picture of her, that drawing, he then spills a drink on it and then starts using it as a damn napkin. You made me laugh when you said "Dab It" You then started doing the Dab. God you're beautiful. Roger is then about to leave when he hears Bri's voice, they've only seen each other for five minutes and then they start kissing, Roger tells her that he wants her. The last time he saw her he told her that if she doesn't care enough to marry him then he doesn't care enough to have her in his bed. These two are making my head spin, before you know it they're married, I'm not buying any of this. I just don't think he's right for her, I want Bri to have what Claire and Jamie have. They then talk about Jamie and Claire's obituary, Bri is upset because Roger didn't tell her he knew about it, I get wanting to protect her from that, she probably had a picture in her mind of her mother and father together, happy. But he knew what was going to happen to them, that they would die like that. They both have the ability to stop it, to save them. She's angry, she said he only wanted her to be happy so that she would marry him. The way he speaks to her, he tells her now that she's his wife she should listen to him, that he almost died trying to find her. I don't remember her asking him, he can't hold that over her, he said maybe he should just leave, just go back through the stones. He keeps putting all this pressure on her, threatening to leave her on her wedding night. This is the first time Bri has ever been with someone, it was supposed to be the most beautiful day of her life. To share a moment like that with the woman you love, to hold her in your arms all night. I would fight for that. The scene with Bri and Stephen Bonnet, you ever just want to reach through the screen and grab someone. Where the hell was Roger, he should have been protecting her, that's why he was there. I hope Jamie finds Stephen Bonnet and tears him apart. This has to be one of the darkest moments in Outlander, and on her wedding night. It was supposed to be the most beautiful day of her entire life. You said in your description of Outlander 4X7 that you were on season five and that your feelings for Roger have completely changed, well unless he saves an orphanage full of kids or something then I just don't know, I will have to wait and see. That scene with Claire helping that guy, someone comes in and said that Claire had butchered him, that he just needed tobacco smoke up his ass. I burst out laughing when you said "Hang Him!" I just couldn't stop laughing, thanks for that. I love that Elderberry picking photo you shared on YouTube. It made me smile when I first saw that. You looked beautiful Imon. I'd never heard of Elderberry before, I looked it up and this is what I found. Elderberry is one of the most commonly used medicinal plants in the world. It is most often taken as a supplement to treat cold and flu symptoms. However, the raw berries, bark, and leaves are poisonous. Traditionally, Indigenous people used it to treat fever and rheumatism, while the ancient Egyptians used it to improve their complexions and heal burns. It’s still gathered and used in folk medicine across many parts of Europe. It sounds like you're becoming a healer Imon, just like Claire. You're beautiful, always. <3

I agree! We need more reactors doing Outlander! There are only a handful!!

I think I liked Roger better in the books, but he really handles everything completely wrong here. Instead of apologizing, he turns it all on her. Brianna is a lot less bratty in the show, so it's much easier to take her side completely here.
