2023-10-18 23:23:02 It was nice to see John Grey again, when Jamie first sees Willie all he wants is to hold him. At first Willie acts as if he doesn't know him but then later he asks "Do you remember me?" Fondly, he says, he then asks Willie if he still has the wooden snake he carved for him, Sawny. I like the scene when Jamie is talking to Claire, he said when Willie said his name his heart raced, he said "I wanted to swing him through the air as I did when he was a wee lad." Later we see Jamie and John, they're playing chess and then Jamie looks over to Willie asleep in his bed and John asks him if he feels content, Jamie says "I have all that a man could want. Home. Honourable work. My wife by my side. Good friends. And the knowledge that my son is safe and well cared for. I want no more." When John got the measles things got interesting, he said that Claire was envious of the time he and Jamie shared together, and with Willie, that she's envious of the fact that he's raising Jamie's son. She then tells him about Brianna, it's like they're competing for Jamie, John is like, I have his son, Claire is like, I have his daughter. You made me laugh when you said it's like we're on the set of Maury. When he's talking to Claire he said when he heard that Isobel had died he felt nothing, that they shared a life together, that he should have felt something, but he didn't. He said that the reason he came was to see if he could still feel, whether it's his feelings that have died, or only Isobel. He tells Claire that it's hard watching her with Jamie, she says "Why torture yourself? Surely you knew, coming here, that you could never have him." He then tells her he could have had him, that Jamie offered himself to him in exchange for his commitment to serve as Willie's father. Claire said he should stop talking, you made me laugh Imon when you said "She just starts stuffing his mouth with the cloth and she doesn't even realize she's doing it. Shut up! Shut up!" The way you laughed. God you're beautiful. I liked what you said, how it would be confusing, you said that John Grey is very handsome and that it's not like Jamie is into him, and that it was for other reasons, serious stuff. You said that some people are a little more fluid, the line isn't drawn in the sand for some people and that Claire doesn't have anything to worry about, at all. You're right Jamie has drawn his line in the sand, at times it's like Jamie and the ones he loves are on one side, and on the other side are all the things threatening to pull them apart. I love what you said at the end about Jamie and Claire, "They always fall back into each other, whenever it's just so hard they just always fall back into each other." I like the scene in the morning with John and Claire, you started to laugh and said "The awkward moment when the fever has come down and he's like, sooo." I just love the way you laugh, you really are beautiful. When Claire is saying goodbye to John she says "Don't lose hope. You, too, deserve to have the look of satisfaction on your face. You said "I hope he can find that, I really do." You're so sweet. It's now time for Jamie to say goodbye to Willie, a proper goodbye. It's sad, the last time they saw each other Willie was the one watching Jamie leave, now it's Jamie watching Willie leave, and just before he's gone he looks back at Jamie, and in that moment Jamie wanted to stop him, he takes a step forward, Claire then places her hand on his shoulder to let him know it's okay, she then holds him, the way she looks at him, she loves him so much. I love at the end when Jamie gives her that ring, I love the inscription, it reads "Give me a thousand kisses." Claire then says "And I'll give you a thousand more." Jamie then picks her up and walks over to the bed, he then gently lays her down and kisses her and says One, he then kisses the side of her neck and says Two, he then kisses the other side of her neck and says Three, he then begins to slowly work his way down and Claire says Five. They both smile and Jamie asks Five? I love those two together, you can just feel how much they love each other, it's undeniable. I loved what you said "This is a sad episode, but a happy episode. I can just feel it, like there's this thing in my chest." I know what you mean, Outlander just has that effect, you can just feel what the characters feel, their heartache, their loss, their love, it's beautiful. You're beautiful Imon, always. <3
