I joined here after watching this on YT! Even though I watched this movie 3 times and also a few reactions, I felt a new connection with some of the emotional scenes in the movie. Thank you for that and I'm glad to be a patron.

The Story, The Fire, The Water. Rise, Roar, Revolt. I loved this movie, the first time watching this was with you and even before it started you were already smiling, I knew this was gonna be fun. This was more than just a movie, it was a journey. An epic story of friendship between freewill and destiny, of honor, sacrifice, and love. I love that line at the start about The Shepherd. When Venkat Avadhani is asking for the release of Milla, he says her people have a trait "They like staying in herds like sheep, and even if one lamb goes missing, it causes them great distress. This is why the herd has a Shepherd. He protects the herd with his life." "The Shepherd will travel however far to retrieve the missing lamb. Be it morning or night, sun or rain, rocks, mountains, valleys, peaks... He will search every nook and corner. If he happens to find the lamb in the tiger's mouth, he will break it's teeth, pry its jaws open and take the lamb back to its herd." I loved when Ram helps Bheem talk to Jenny, I love it when Bheem thought her name was "Don't call me madam, it is Jenny yes" and Ram tells him its just Jenny and he says "Oh, Jenny" and then you said "Oh Jenny, that could be a song." That dance that Ram and Bheem did the Desi Naach was wild, Ram and Bheem are just great together, that scene must have taken a lot of work to film, but I bet they had a lot of fun doing it. In the beginning we wondered why Ram did what he did, it all made sense when we saw him as a boy, of what happened to his family, his people. He's a good man doing bad things but for a great cause, it was for his people, for the woman he love's, to protect them. What he said to Seetha "I'm hurting the people whose freedom I'm fighting for." That scene when Ram is about to whip Bheem and then the wind blows a leaf that gently graces the side of his face and then falls to the ground and lands in the water, Bheem then says "Bheema, the earth on which you were born, the trees which give you air to breathe, your Gond tribe which has given you a name, are all talking to you. Can you hear it?" Later we see Ram talking to his uncle and he says "It has never been clearer to me. All this while, I was prepared to sacrifice anything for our country. I thought Bheem would also be one among them. But today I've realized Bheem is not merely a sacrificial lamb. He is a volcano. I was under the impression that guns would bring us freedom. But Bheem inspired everyone with just a song. He said his Father told him to give everybody a weapon "But Bheem's emotion turned each person into a weapon." I love the scene when Bheem meets Seetha and he learns of Ram's story, of who he really is and he tells Seetha "I came for Malli. But your fiancee came for the land." Then he tells her "Seetha shouldn't go looking for Ram. Ram should come to wherever Seetha is. I will bring him to you." That scene at the end, I loved that shot of Ram with the Bow and Arrow, "Rama, the descendant of Raghu Lineage." And that shot of Bheem in the water with the spear was beautiful, "Bheema, the lion of the Komuram Clan." At the end of the video you talked about the Light, I love when you do that, it reminds me of what you said once. "Being that light for others, a candle can light another unlit candle, light can be passed on, and also one person's light can be enough to let everyone see through the dark." I had so much fun watching this with you Imon, I can't wait to watch this again with you. <3

Hi Imon, I’m finally watching RRR with you. I love this movie so much and like you, developed a huge crush on Ram. I also agree that I love his look at the end of the movie with the long hair looking like a god. His name in real life is also Ram. Even male reactors have commented on the fact that he is a very handsome man. I felt so badly at the beginning when you didn’t like Ram and I think you are right about paying attention to where you meet your friends because that says a lot. I’m not sure if you caught it but when Ram and Bheem first meet and are eating, the woman scolds Bheem for eating with his left hand and Ram said it reminded him of something and then in the flashback we see Ram as a boy watching his brother also eating with his left hand. At the end dance scene, they showed pictures of people and paid tribute to them. Those people were real life famous 20th century revolutionaries in India’s history who fought for freedom against the British rule. The two main characters Ram and Bheem are played by Ram Charan (Ram) and NTR. Jr (Bheem) These two characters were also real people who lead tribal people to fight against the British. They were not friends and I believe they were around at different times while India fought for their independence. The director of the movie (who was the grey haired man at the end dance scene) wanted to make a movie about what if these two famous revolutionaries really did know each other and were friends. So that’s why they say the movie is fictional even though some is real. The two actors are also very good friends in real life so that comes across on camera. The director wanted to talk with them about doing the movie together and said he had to call both actors to his house to discuss it together because if he had just told one of them first, they would’ve called the other one before the director would’ve been able to. lol My dad is Indian, but I grew up with my mom in an American household, so I don’t know much about this other than some research, but watching this movie makes me proud to be half Indian. The main characters are played by two of the biggest Indian stars, if not THE biggest stars in India and it was a very big deal to have them both star in wthe same movie. Because this one did so well and became so popular in the West, I hope they do RRR part 2. I’m not sure if they will though because the first movie took a long time. They had to shut down in 2020 because of the pandemic and the actors said it was really difficult because they still had to work out every day to stay in shape while the movie was shut down. Someone even pointed out that Malli looks taller in some scenes. So obsessed with this movie! I think it would be on my list if I can only take one movie with me on a desert island…
