Hey guys! I am nearing the end of Community. I have enjoyed the hell out of this show and have had so many laughs as well as getting to understand myself on a deeper level. Community definitely helped me in so many ways! So now I ask what show would you like me to watch next? Do I continue with a comedy series? Is there anything else like Community?  I will create a poll after I hear from you all!

Thank you all so much for your continued support!

If you continue with comedy , I would highly recommend The Good Place or Brooklyn Nine Nine 💕

Nathan Elkin

The Good Place is fun and has a more immediate story than Brooklyn Nine Nine, but the latter is more of the Community style show. The Good Place is written by the guy who wrote The Office and Parks & Rec.

Oh I wasn’t aware , I just posted my two favorite comedies , I’ve never watched Community so idk anything similar to it I’m afraid!

Cody Price

Highly recommend the Yellowstone Franchise 1883 starring Sam Elliott and Tim McGraw, 1923 Season 1 starring Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren (season 2 is coming), Yellowstone Season 1-5 starring Kevin Costner (second part of Season 5 coming this summer). Really think you would love these series. :)

Konosuba. You finished season 1 and the season 1 ova but there is a second season and at least 1 movie. Might be 2. Also I just watched your reaction for The Suicide Squad and the Peacemaker spinoff series with John Cena was actually pretty good.

Yess... Cuban B

The Good Place would be a great transition and help to soften the blow of Community ending.

Ishan Deulkar

For a comedy I would love to have you do Modern Family! It's the only show that has matched Community for me Also 11 seasons so a lot of longevity

Cody Price

Also I would also recommend The Last of Us as well starring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey.

Brian Settles

Good place would be fun

As far as a comedy I recommend Ted Lasso starring Jason Seduksis, Shrinking starring Jason Segal and Harrison Ford, and Cobra Kai starring Ralph Macchio and William Zabka (in order to watch this series have to watch The Karate Kid franchise first; the TV series a sequel to the film franchise.)

The Good Place feels right up your alley if you're looking for a comedy.

I think 𝙈𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙡 𝙊𝙧𝙚𝙡 if you're looking for something funny, meaningful and relatable, since it deals with religion and growing up. It starts off comedic and gets more serious and story oriented over time similar to bojack. I also wanna add a nomination point to Psych

Brian Settles

Not enough people talk about Morel Orel! Adult Swim really buried one of it's best shows ever!

Jabin (Aelic)

The IT Crowd is a fantastic comedy that's relatively short

Camelot VFX

There's nothing else really like Community unfortunately, but a comedy would be great. I HIGHLY recommend Brooklyn Nine-Nine. The Good Place would also be an option, along with Parks and Recreation if you haven't seen it yet.

2023-04-12 05:31:24 I like all the choices here. First and foremost my number 1 show recommendation is always the Office if you’ve never seen it. My official vote would be for 1-Brooklyn 99, 2-Cobra Kai or go crazy with It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia (not sure if you’d like this show but I love watching reaction videos to Sunny and it’s the longest running sitcom still on TV) So I’ve never seen the The Good Place but I love Parks & Rec and the Office so maybe I should check it out. 😄

If we’re talking about another comedy series, I’d say Big Mouth, Friends, or The Office. For another animated show, Samurai Jack or The Amazing World of Gumball. For drama show, Euphoria or Morel Orel. Morel Orel was a show I thought would be just a throw away cartoon satire, but there are several episodes in the last two seasons that really got to me on a personal level. But I think that’s be the best show to react and analyze. I have a feeling you might also relate to certain elements. At the end of the day, do what makes you most comfortable. These are just my recommendations, but whatever is least stressful for you.

2023-04-12 09:58:36 A show which I think is fantastic is 86 Eighty-Six which aired last year. It’s very similar thematically & in tone to attack on titan, characters with neuance, the directing and cinematography is absolutely beautiful. It’s symbolism heavy which you can rewatch and find small details/actions which add layers to each scene which makes it even more fulfilling. Finally the OST by Hiroyuki Sawano and Kohta Yamamoto from AOT is sooooooo damn good. I can rave on and on.

Atlanta….. may the journey begin

The Good Place is amazing. Ted Lasso is a little less of a straight comedy but is also fantastic.

Alyssa Dyson

idk about comedy but for drama Big Little Lies was great. Very cinematic and the soundtrack is amazing.

Frankie H

I'd go with Parks and Rec, The Good Place, or Ted Lasso if you want to stay with fun, optimistic, inspirational comedies. If there's a future drama poll I'd go with The Expanse.

??

Yes! They really did, it's unfortunate.

LionBro

You've got to watch Psych. Amazing and hilarious comedy mystery show. Another comedy/crime option would be, Lucifer. If you want something that's definitely not a comedy put a great show, Alice in Borderlands. It's like Squid Games but Japanese instead of Korean.

SLAPAPOW

Ted Lasso! It is one of the funniest and most touching shows I have ever watched! Also, it is comparatively short. Otherwise, The Legend of Vox Machina 100%! It's an animated series based of the Critical Role Dungeons and Dragons web series and it is a BLAST! I can't recommend it enough.

PSYCH!!!!!!

A good comedy series I enjoyed watching was called Silicon Valley, when I first saw the trailer I thought it wasn't for me, but I was wrong. I like the characters Guilfoyle and Dinesh they're great together, it's always fun when those two are on screen, but my favorite might have to be Jared, he really cares for the group, he see's them as the family he's never had. I've seen this series a few times now and it always makes me laugh, it has a lot of heart, it may be a gamble but I think you just might like it.

Eddie

I might not have the right tier to see if there was ever an answer on this. I hope it was Ted Lasso, but if not I'm eager to watch your reaction on a comedy.
