2023-03-21 06:17:28 what you mentioned about floch is why i have a problem with the afterlife scene. the whole show as i understand is about the ambiguity of right and wrong , how there are no villains or heroes, just people doing what they believe to be right for what they value. floch not being in that "heaven" ,which the implications (of an afterlife where you're wearing the same clothes you died in, somehow in your physical body,retaining memories, Hange still not having her eye back ect) are already questionable but regardless, him not being there suggest that there is some right and wrong in this universe and that the things floch values are fundamentally wrong as judged by some great cosmic force he had no choice to participate in. if floch is in some hell then that goes against the message of the show i think , maybe what were bein shown is just ion hanges head as she dies that would make more sense and justify it to me.
