Oh gosh this series is sometimes way too much. As uncomfortable as this episode made me I am glad I watched and glad they even brought up this topic. Hope you stay tuned for my after thoughts. Thank you for your support!

Looking for a new series to watch after Sandman, highly recommend the Yellowstone franchise. Yellowstone starring Kevin Costner is currently in it’s fifth season, it’s prequel miniseries 1883 starring Sam Elliott and Tim McGraw came out last December, and 1883’s sequel series that is still a prequel to Yellowstone 1923 is currently streaming on Paramount + starring Helen Mirren and Harrison Ford (going to be two seasons). Since you are a fan of westerns thought you might like these shows and the writing of these shows are a masterpiece of writing.

This has always been a challenging story so I totally get where you are with it. The meta physical concepts it’s dealing with are hard enough to grasp. But the story really cuts deep with the existential concepts of life and death, growth and change. Morpheus himself is a walking talking existential crisis on an epic meta physical scale. It’s not an easy subject matter to grasp or digest, but personally I love it, I love how hard it is, how after 20+ years I’m still trying to grasp everything going on in the Sandman.
