Thank you again for all you do and sorry for this long message! In regard to Slime Diaries, the perfect time to watch it would be between Season 1 and Season 2. The timeline for Diaries is: Ep.1-6 before Milim gets to Tempest and Ep. 7-12 happen after Milim joins the team and before Season 2; so it would make sense. However, based on what you're communicating about your needs, Diaries may or may not be the palate cleanser you need? I know you mention the idea of "waiting for something bad to happen" when you watch the main show. If you are referencing needing a break from that kind of anxiety, then Diaries would be great! It's laid back and really focuses on character nuances and town building. You get to spend time and breathe within the town, enjoying everyone in their day to day. If you need a break from the world as a whole, then another show may be what you need. As far as how you want it to work for you, because Diaries is so laid back, some viewers tend to find it boring because it lacks "action". If this is a concern in regard to lowering viewership, not to ruin it for any of your Youtube supporters, but a lot of other content creators tend to make Diaries a Patreon Exclusive. But again, that depends on your needs and the needs of your brand. Most fans of the main show would love your reaction to Diaries, myself included, but if you are trying to reach a bigger anime audience, those who are not fond of slice-of-life type series my not be as interested. I don't know about the other manga they were talking about but I think FF was probably a reference to the final fantasy series which I think they're soon to be at 16 I think so close enough lol. Also I love the on sight beef!
