Dollface

A heads up: the next episode can be somewhat frustrating, as Araki's handling of a particular subject matter isn't entirely deft. Granted, I haven't seen many complaints, but it did leave some with a less than pleasant taste in their mouth, so I figured I would say something.

oh wait i’m so curious, what did ppl complain about? (spoilers ahead for others) the fact that mcqueen was suicidal and no one eventually tried to help him? or the whole “i’ll give you my panties! also hey, mondays suck but saturdays will come aka so don’t kill yourself it’ll be alright” convo?

Everyone in this part is named for something relating to Fashion. Gwess for Guess (the brand), Hermes for Hermès (brand again), John Galli A for John Galliano (designer) and Emporio for Emporio Armani.

In part 3 Jotaro went on a quest to save his mother. Now we have the Jolyne going on a quest to save her father. The main villain of this part is also my 2nd favorite villain in jojo behind Kira so I’m sure you two will like em.

Bit of a long comment, but I hope you read it all! Also there are no spoilers in this long comment! We finally make it to the main plot if the series! Saving Jotaro! Just like Jotaro once did for his mother, now Jolyne is in the same predicament. Also love how they had to name Jotaro "The Invincible Stand User, Jotaro Kujo". The villains truly putting respect to Jotaros name and abilities. Also this shows how Whitesnake had to make this convoluted plan JUST to land ONE HIT on Jotaro to seal his fate. He first had to cause a situation where Jolyne was in a position where Jotaro had to come and save her, and thus caused this by sending her to prison. He then showed Jotaro Johngalli A's stand in his dream world so he knew what danger it would be when he saw it again in the real world. Then he also had to make a dream for Jotaro who has a natural 30+ on Joestar perception, where he thought he already noticed it was a dream and out of the dream already, only to be in a second damn layer dream. After that, he forced Jotaros hand and attacked Jotaros one single weakness, his daughter. He might not have been around much in her life, but he still her father... he decided to save his daughter and tank whatever his 2nd opponent was gonna throw at him, probably hoping he could survive it and counter. ALL OF THIS PLANNING just to stall Jotaros Timestop and make process everything in the span of his 2-3 seconds of time stop just to hit him once. It's absurd how lengthy a plan the Villain's had to come up with just to take out the #1 stand user. :P also there is something about Jotaro that is never really mentioned in the manga and most likely not the anime either about why Jotaro was gone for most of Jolynes life, but the few things that can be said/deduced is that Jotaro was always in constant danger of being attacked. Let me explain In part 4, Jolyne is actually born in this time, but would be about 7 years old at the time. So this would have been the first instance (for us viewers) know what Jotaro was doing ditching his daughter. His first mission in part 4 was to find Joseph's illegitimate son about his half of his inheritance, investigate a murderer running amok who is deduced to be a stand user (Angelo), and find out the origin of the picture with Enyaba and the bow and arrow, and how Dio ended up getting a stand in Part 3. After a bit of the events in part 4, he had to stay in Morioh to make sure that the Arrow(s) he found in Morioh are safely secured and kept safe with the Speedwagon foundation. After that, was the defeat of Kira. So this explains why he was gone for Jolynes life when she was 7 years old. Part 5 in 2001, Jotaro now has to investigate information about Dio having a son. He sends koichi to Italy to deduce whether Dios son was a threat or not. When Koichi came back, this finished Jotaros mission with Dios son, Giorno Giovanna. Jolyne would only be about 9 years old. That's 2 more years that Jotaro probably missed out on his daughters life. Now what about the rest of the 10 years he was gone in between parts 5 (2001) to now part 6 (2011)? There is one thing that has been repeated to us since part 4, part 5 and now part 6 about stand users... Stand Users are attracted to each other. No matter where Jotaro would go, at some point in the day, week, month or year a stand user would most likely be in his face, most probably to kill him, as Dio still had many fanatics even after his death (as seen from Johngalli A). So we can deduce that Jotaro left his daughter and wife's lives to ensure that they would never be in danger and to protect them from the world he lives in 😭. Like I said, this stuff is never stated in the manga nor the anime about his absence, but you can deduce why he had to leave his daughters life alone with his wife. Makes his sacrifice to save Jolyne here even sadder now... he truly did love his daughter (and most probably his wife as well). He probably just didn't want to put them in danger...
