Zeke doesnt want to wipe out all eldians at once right now, his plan is just to make it so they cant have kids so that they cease to be a race after this generation, he just doesnt see himself as evil when he kills eldians, as he views it as him saving them from a cruel world

Exactly my thoughts. I'm anime-only and I remember how big a deal it was for Eren when he heard how his mom said he's special just by the fact he was born in this world. This runs counter to Zeke's wish to keep new Eldian's from being born. Although, Reiner wished for death and Eren said "you're just like me" so maybe Eren's changed.
