Lol wish people weren't so compelled to make sure you both knew that they didn't like s2 of Korra. With that in mind, you're unfortunately gonna have a predisposition towards this season from the get go. Could be a good thing, or could be a bad thing. Idk we'll see. One thing i will say is that while season 1 stands on it's own as a great one season story, and does not really tie in too much. Season 2 essentially begins the real story of Legend of Korra. Season 2, 3, 4 all connect to each other.

I don't think this season is nearly as bad as people make it out to be. So much of the hate Korra gets just boils down to her being a teenager and all that entails.

A lot of the Korra hate is based in misogyny as well. The amount of people calling her "arrogant" or "bitchy" for reasonably calling out her father and Tenzin were extremely high when this started airing.

S2 is underrated. I enjoyed the spiritual theme for the book and it averted expectations. People who say otherwise are stuck in the past and want everything to be like ATLA. It’s so annoying.

Just a warning the creators were forced to switch animation studios some time during this season. But they switched back towards the end.
