When I hear about the work hours in America I always feel glad i grew up in Netherlands. We have our share of problems but at least we have a good home/work ratio. On average we work 32 hours a week and you're right it helps with spending time with your kids. Did you know that Dutch children are the happiest in the world? I'm sure that has something to do with it. :-)

Jimmy always resorts to his slippin' ways because that's the only way he sees success. He's tried living the "good person" life. He tried being the loving brother, supportive boyfriend, and best friend that people can rely on. And all it's brought him was pain, betrayal, and heartache. Not to mention a lack of success in his career. We as human beings are conditioned to do things that make us feel good about ourselves, and get us ahead in life. Jimmy is sadly doing what comes naturally. He can't help himself. So no, even though he has good intentions, Jimmy may not a good person. Because, unfortunately, the world is not a good place and if you're going to survive in it -- you can't be. It's the Batman analogy. You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain. That's the tragedy of Saul Goodman.

Just in case you missed it, something I thought was quite clever and significant is that Gus is the reason Hector is in a wheel chair and in his state throughout Breaking Bad. Nacho put him into a coma, Gus was the one who got him the help he needed to nurse him back to health, but stopped his treatment before he could walk and talk. Evil.
