Just dont forget about the fact that there was a full moon this episode. It showed it several times with sky shots. Some people just think she could do it whatever which she can't lol

I'm not a part of the high tier to request movies or shows, but I do hope you gals watch legend of korra after this. I know you've talked about it, but its on netflix now so its even easier to watch if you decide to.

Not sure how your gonna feel about this fact but the next day after Suki went to Sokka's tent, he's making her a "Lei" neckless; implying he got laid the night before; and de-flowered Suki. I don't think Katara wanted an explanation; she wanted to both confront him and avenge her mother, in the end she could only do one.

Dune

Forgiveness is such a hard thing to do. When someone has just wronged you or done something horrible like kill someone you love it's like how do you forgive that? If you wanted to go deeper you could say that it wasn't that guy's fault. He was just a product of the fire nation like many others. A product of the teachings of the fire lords and their strictness. They rule by fear and have made their citizens believe that what they're doing is right in some way. So I'm sure even if she did actually kill him she definitely wouldn't feel better because at the end of the day revenge killings don't bring back the person that your avenging.

Not sure if I'm reading too much into it, but I just noticed Aang mirrored the actions of Katara's mom all the way back in the second episode of the show, "If I go with you, do you promise to leave everyone alone?"

This episode speaks volumes. It shows Katara's character to overcome something that people wouldn't be able to do. To walk away and not even beat him up or cut him up just a little bit really shows how kind she is. Seriously, just imagine someone killing your mother or father/ person that raised you and they didn't go to jail or prison. They just out here living life and free to do whatever they want. That's hard to walk away from when seeing that person in front of you and not wanting to take justice or revenge into your own hand. He was the captain, so he made the decision to kill the mother instead of taking her in as a prisoner. I'm pretty sure all of that was running through Katara's head in this episode.
