I could be wrong, but i'm pretty sure this whole tower part of the exam is considered the worst part of the entire show lol. It gets waaaayy better later on.

I always felt that nobody heard him say "I surrender" last episode. Kurapika had his mouth in a tight hold and knocked him out simultaneously. That seemed like a fair rationale to me.

i would argue that this is faster paced than YYH, i think it's definitley slower, and in YYH fights only last one ep too, except the "boss" fights, those are 2 or maximum 3 episodes long.
