Awesome, you'll definitely love this series. As a huge fan of western superhero comics, especially the X-Men, I fell in love with it almost immediately. A couple of preemptive clarifications with the names since it inevitably confuses everyone at first: Our protagonist's name is Izuku Midoriya, but as you're probably aware, since this is set in Japan most people refer to him by his surname (Midoriya) not his given name. His childhood bully, the blond haired kid with the explosive powers, is named Katsuki Bakugo. Again, most people call him Bakugo, while people who have known him from childhood (including Midoriya) call him Kacchan. Also, Bakugo calls Midoriya Deku for reasons which will be explained later. In summary: Izuku = Midoriya = Deku = Our Protagonist Katsuki = Bakugo = Kacchan = Our Protagonist's Bully Also, as a head's up, since they're easy to miss: episodes 104, 108, and 113 all have brief post-credit scenes. Enjoy! And I'm glad you'll also be doing Mob Psycho 100.

First 2 episodes are kind of a package deal, try to watch that one soon after this one. You'll enjoy this series, always fun watching things that only get better with time

i prefer the dub to sub

imonsnow

That's something to look into. We may do dub for the next episodes

PS

Please don't watch the dub, cut and paste from another youtube comment: - The dubbed version changes some of the character's mentality. The main character is originally in a state of "about to give up" with a pessimistic world view, but the dub version changes the line as if he was even more determined to win, in a optimistic perspective, but this makes the character sound much more generic. Some of Izuku's lines (even some jokes here and there) are changed from being funny to serious, making it sound pretty corny in my opinion. - The look of the setting is neutral, but some of the language that the characters use change their tone based on the types of japanese, making their cultural differences pretty clear, but that distinction is lost in dub, making the vocabulary of the characters pretty similar. It's usually not a problem, but since you know japanese, I think it would be a bit of a waste. - The voice cast of both versions are highly skilled and both have impressive portfolios (Not like I checked all of them, but you get the gist). But I think the sound quality of the sub version is a bit better... Maybe it was the quality of the studio or something that's common with dubbing an anime, either way it's just something that bothered me when I tried to watch it dubbed. - The subbed version has the teenager cast sounding a lot more like teenagers. Well... It's not like the difference is that much, but I feel that most of the american cast have deeper voices than their japanese counterparts, making the kids sound a little more like adults. - There's plenty of humor that comes from wordplay and some that involves japanese characters using english terms or some characters that straight up talk english (engrish) here and there as to make their characters and style stand out a bit - That's a minor detail, but still something I decided to include.

It's just easier to react with dub on YouTube coz u don't have to read and react

PS

Why react to an inferior version, you want to watch as the director intended it to be, not an Americanised version of it.
