Is it Christmas?

The clone captain Gregor was in season 5 of the clone wars "Missing in Action" he had amnesia and was working as a cook, got his memory back and saved r2 and the other droids sacrificing himself. It looked like he died in a big explosion, but no body. He seems a bit eccentric now, he might have had some brain damage from the explosion. The design of the stormtroopers is really interesting here. They look similar to the stormtroopers in the movies, but their helmets look a little different. I think they're based off the original star wars concept art from the 1970's by Ralph McQuarrie. So it looks like they made concept art canon now, which is cool.

"Left Behind" was the name of the DLC from the first Last of Us game and it did tell the story of Riley. Most everything is the same, but of course it's a little truncated because there's no gameplay sections, but this hits all the story points. This showed a little more of Ellie's FEDRA life with the fight with Bethany and the meeting with Kwan telling her about her future.

You mention that the Kaminoans were up to shady stuff, but I'm not sure I know what you mean. You mentioned that when they said they empowered the Empire so they get what they deserved and that they did things because of greed, but the way I see it, they were just a business that Palpatine used. They provided a service that the "Republic" contracted them to do and they did seem to care about their "product," but the Republic became the Empire and that's why they said here that they empowered the Empire. They assumed they were dealing with the same people that originally contracted with them, but realized here too late that they aren't and the Empire isn't on the up-and-up. In the movie "Attack of the Clones" when Obi-Wan found out about the clones being created for war by impersonating Sifo Dias (sp?) who commissioned their creation, the Kaminoans thought they were dealing straight with the Republic and the Jedi when it was actually done in secret by Dooku, I'm pretty sure. So, I don't really see the Kaminoans as the bad guys here. If I'm missing some shadiness that I don't remember, let me know 'cause it's been a long time since I watched the prequel movies, let alone The Clone Wars. I watched the first 4 seasons when they aired and started the 5th, but stopped. Then I didn't pick it back up until the show had ended 'cause I was interested in watching this show when it was announced and wanted to get caught up before it aired. It IS interesting to see how things went from one thing to the thing we've come to know. It's why I love origin stories.

Oh, the Bad Batch uses stun because since the end of the war, they've been mostly fighting Imperial clones and they don't want to kill any of their brothers. They use regular blasters when they deal with creatures, droids and non-clones if the situation warrants it.

Did I miss the 2nd part of the season finale for The Bad Batch, ep 16?

Frankie H

No, I think that's just the way the upload schedule worked out. I don't think episode 16 is up yet.

Lol I definitely recommend watching the rest of clone wars, it gets really obvious that the kaminoans are heartless business people who don't care about the clones, I don't want to spoil to much but there is one arc in particular that really shows that.

Thadman

I did finish, like I said, before The Bad Batch started because I wanted to be caught up. They viewed the clones as product or tools, not like people exactly, but more like the organic upgrade to droids. They had a lot of pride in their creations and didn't want them to be unnecessarily damaged. Well, some of them. They are not a monolith either. It's like some were business oriented and some more craftsmen. That's basically how I saw them. Not some evil monolith, but I can understand how some could think of them in that blanket way.
