So it has finally been confirmed that Amos was assaulted and abused as a child. It was hinted at throughout the series but we have final confirmation. My heart breaks for him and anyone who has suffered in that way in real life. I speak about this in my review it would be appreciated if you could listen and then hearing your thoughts. I believe people can change for the better, especially if they have someone good enough in their lives. What do you all think?

"When you're hurt, hurting others is easy. It takes strength to choose not to. When life has not treated you with kindness, doing the right thing always takes strength." I love this quote so much, and I think it's speaks perfectly to the heart of the show.

So absolutely loved your recall to Amos' line to Miller in S2 that Holden is righteous and how it resonates back to Lydia's words to Amos (or Timothy) as a young boy. He also says that Holden and Naomi are much better than him to Prax and that they will "find your little girl". Amos' loyalty can be tried but it is also super strong once he has made up his mind about someone. There is much hardship in life and sometimes the best we can do is all we can for the people immediately around us, like you are doing for your children. Remember that Filip had only Marco left for a parent and role model so that is the main reason he is who he is right now. Your children have a more loving and thoughtful role model to pattern their lives and behavior after. That is what you have control over and you are using that power to its greatest good!

When you see the parts of Baltimore under water at the start, that's due to the rising sea levels from global warming. New York City and Amsterdam (which we see for a second in season 4) have built giant sea walls. Looks like Baltimore didn't have the money to do that and just abandoned parts of the city. In season 1 we see Avasarala's grandson who Chrisjen and Arjun are baby sitting during a few episodes, I'm guessing Ashanti is the mom. Charanpal, Chrisjen's deceased son never had kids, I think. I could be wrong. At 21:20 into the video there's a hidden Simpsons reference. In the background you hear a street vender selling "Khlav Kalash" which is not real food, it's what Homer Simpson bought from a street vender when he was in new york city. At 21:28 the vender says, "No bowl, STICK, STICK!!!" In the episode Homer asks for a bowl of Khlav Kalash and the vender hands him what looks like meat on a stick and says that line. The subtitles say "Crab goulash" but amazon subtitles are usually wrong. The writers like to sprinkle in Simpsons easter eggs every so often.

Interesting talk about your previous life in Christianity. I was once a very hardcore Preacher for a church for a good amount of years and was also raised in a religious household but also walked away from it all. It was a wild journey. The most odd part about my walking away all started when I had a moment of wanting to become even more "hardcore for the Lord". That moment instead turned into me learning and seeing things that led to my exit from it all! Other than that the whole deal with Amos' background hits hard and it was a very well written story arc. Can't say I've seen it done before, especially with a male character.

By the way, Amos said he did not kill those guys on the way to Luna. He said they were all still alive when he left. Not sure they will be able to use all their limbs from now on. 😁
