Love how mature Naomi's and Holden's relationship is. No teenage drama level crap from what should be adults like in many shows and movies nowadays. And yeah, the show is really good at showing the scale of things. My favorite one this season of where it started off at the edge of the ring and zoomed in on a tiny ship only for it to be the Behemoth itself and the fleet following it. And that's a big ship, shows just how massive the ring is. The Expanse also does bad guys really well, especially with ones like Ashford in this episode. It's hard to see how he is wrong, because he really isn't wrong in this case. It's the fate of the entire human race at stake here.

Well that is part of what this show does, lead you in one direction but show you how our human failings and desires can lead to all the wrong conclusions. Most humans can be redeemed, not all, but most. I love the battle between Bobbie and her two crew, first she yells for them to "Stand down" when they start firing. Then she has a prolonged battle between her and her female soldier which is a well matched battle and why it takes time for Bobbie to win. She also yells "don't shoot!" to Amos although of course Amos will shoot to save Alex. So Bobbie tries in vain to rescue her crew and at the end of the battle she says "clear", knowing she has just forfeit her role as a Martian Marine once again. Excellent story telling!! Love this reaction and this show. You can start season 4 next week but we had to wait more than a year for Season 4 but were so glad that we had saved the show!!

So that concludes season 3 and book 3. Pretty wild they condensed book 3 into 7 episodes, episodes 7-13. Season 3 was the last season that aired on the syfy network, they cancelled it. Amazon saved the show and seasons 4, 5, and 6 are all produced by Amazon. I love that Ashford survived, and there's no hard feelings from Drummer.

Minor correction, the show was still produced by the same company the entire time, but it was funded by Amazon season 4 and onwards.

If this felt like a finale type of episode, it was meant to, as SyFy cancelled the show and they wanted to "end" it on a high note but open ended in case someone else were to pick up the show.

I talk to myself out loud constantly, but the way Holden looks when he talks to Miller is next level 🤣🤣🤣 I also only ever do it when I'm alone and I know nobody is watching. Times like this when I'm talking to the TV and reaction vids on another device. Well, sometimes my DL wife will be in another room and then ask me who the heck I'm talking to 🤣
