J1 League Injury and Suspension Update (Patreon)

Some of the main updates are below:

For Kobe, it was confirmed that Kikuchi has an ACL injury and is out for 8 months. Iniesta has returned to training though im not sure when he will be fit to play. The manager spoke about Samper and he expects him to be able to play at the end of March/early April

At Shonan we found out that Ohashi is out till May with a muscle injury. I expect Tariq/Abe/Yamashita to get more game time. Barada is also known to be out with an undisclosed injury. No update on Tachi yet who was missing at the weekend

For Frontale, Yamamura was taken off in game and is a major doubt for the weekend. Noborizato, Kobayashii and Damiao are all in full training though not sure they will make it for this weekends game.

Aoki was missing for Sapporo, I havent seen him nor Sugeno in training yet. Lucas Fernandes is close to a return and in full training.

Matsubara missed the last game for the champions with a cold. He is fine now and back in training. Koike and Miyachi are also in full training and could make the bench for the weekend or the club may chose to wait for after the international break.

Gamba are waiting nervously on Usami who had a thigh/muscle issue on the weekend. We know he had tests carried out but no results yet.

Finally, the mystery surrounding Sven Brodersen at YFC became clearer. He suffered a clash of heads in training and suffered a concussion. The team are being extra careful with his return and he has just returned to light training. The current keeper, Nagai has had some poor performances so I can see Brodersen challenging him for the number 1 spot
