Predicted Lineup Report for J1 League (GW348) - FREE TO ALL (Patreon)
Content
Intro
In a few hours time, we have the Shonan Bellmare vs Yokohama FC game. This is one of the 4 games being streamed on the J League international channel which can be found here
Over the weekend we have the remaining 8 games which count for this GW on Sorare:
Predicted Lineups
These can also be found on Playsharper website here
Important to note the %s used here and where they are not above 75% it is because I feel there is some risk involved. My main aim with these is to show where risk/potential DNPs are lurking.
I base these %s on info I read from various sources including comments from the manager and reading a lot of local Japanese news coverage/message boards.
These are my own opinion of the situation at each team. I try to be as neutral as possible but we all have biases :) So always do your own research when making picks!
Yokohama F Marinos vs Urawa Reds
Notes
- Obi has done well and I expect him to continue in nets
- Tsunoda and Hatanaka also doing well. Eduardo previously wasnt 100% and its unclear what his condition is so I dont feel confident using him in any major team on Sorare
- Matsubara look ok to continue at RB in Koikes absence
- Currently there hasnt been much rotation for YFM. This again is a tough game and I have gone with a similar lineup to the last game
Notes
- Urawa were disappointing, especially upfront last game. Koroki despite his age is fighting for a spot with Linssen playing behind him
- I still have the same lineup as last game . From training notes, there are no new injuries and these players have been used in practice games in training. It will take a few games to understand the new managers preferences
Odds
Prediction
I expect YFM to win this comfortably with a clean sheet also possible. I like Nishimura, Lopes and Elber in particular.
YFM 3 - 1 Urawa
Sapporo vs Kobe
Notes
- Ogashiwa back in training but unlikely to make this game
- I havent seen Fernandes in training so assumed out. Asano started last game on the right. Kobyashii was surprisingly benched and is pushing for a start
- Sugeno likely to continue in nets after a cleansheet
Notes
- Kikuchi in training but from previous comments, this game looks too soon for him
- Osaki and Iino both back in training for the full week so should be good to go. Still slight risk for both
- Thuler not seen in pictures and assumed out for this game
- Yamaguchi missed some training this week but was in full training as of Thursday. Should be ok to go but slight risk
- Samper is working up to full fitness and could make the bench here.
- Iniesta has returned to Spain for family reasons and is expected back in early March.
- Some talk that Phelipe gets a start. Maekawa got the cleansheet so for me, it wouldnt make sense to change.
Odds
Prediction
Evenly matched teams and I see a low scoring draw with not much between them
Sapporo 1 - Kobe 1
Gamba Osaka vs Sagan Tosu
Notes
- Lavi impressed from the bench in the last game. He looks like he will be a key player for Gamba.
- Dawhan was also excellent. Its could be we see both alongside Usami who played in a CAM position last game. Its hard to predict especially how to fit Yamamoto also in. In general the manager likes to play 4-3-3
- Jebali not in training yet so I see Suzuki continuing
- I assume Tani will continue this game after doing well. The manager has said he plans to use both keepers depending on the opposition so its one to keep an eye on and not ideal for Sorare!
Notes
- Nakano is injured and likely out. We could Tashiro come in or a youth player
- Hwang Seok Ho hasnt been seen in training. No info about injury but I wouldnt risk
- Sagan like to rotate. I expect key players like Nishikawa and Honda to continue but there are lots of options in attack in particular eg Kabayama, Togashi, Kikuchi etc
Odds
Prediction
Sagan Tosu lost bad last week but its important to not underestimate them. They play a brave type of football and against this Gamba side, I expect an open game with goals. Ultimately I see Gamba winning though a score draw also seems possible for me
Gamba 2- 1 Sagan
Fukuoka vs Cerezo Osaka
- Played 3 at the back last game which should continue
- Ideguchi came off the bench the last game but I expect him to start here
Notes
- KJH back in training. Uncertain if fit enough to start. Han Been also in the running to play if KJH not able too
- Kitano is with the u20s. Kato could start here. Kagawa isnt match fit and the manager has already said he will start from the bench
- Makikuma start last week was a surprise. From the managers comments, this looks tactical as he works well with Croux. Matsuda wasnt on the bench which point to an injury. He is certainly in training now so this will give concrete info of the ranking of the RB
Odds
Prediction
I see this as a low scoring win for Cerezo. Fukuoka attack looks weak and I see them struggling to score goals this year
Fukuoka 0- 1 Cerezo
Kashima vs Kawasaki Frontale
Notes
- Kashima impressed in the opening game and I see little reason for changes here.
- Chinen went off early but is in training and looks fine to play against his old side.
- Shoji is also back in light training and though this game is too early for him he could make the bench
Notes
- Jesiel is suspended for this game
- Kurumaya, Noborizato are def out for this game with injuries. Sasaki missed training on the 21st but was seen yesterday. He is still a doubt to start this game
- If he is out, Kawasaki may change formation with 3 at the back or have a makeshift defender there eg Tachibanada and then Schmidt in midfield. This is what happened a few times last season but its very hard to predict at the moment.
- Ienaga went off early last game but has been training fine and should start his 400th J league game over the weekend
Odds
Prediction
I see this being a low scoring draw. Kawasaki have defence issues though im not fully convinced Kashima have found their best setup yet
Kashima 1 - 1 Kawasaki
Nagoya vs Kyoto
Notes
- Yonemoto in full training and pushing for a start
- Yamada also played a practice game last week. He is seen as an excellent talent and also in the running to start. For me its likely he starts from the bench
Notes
- Hahn could make his debu for this game
- Patric is also in the running to start after coming off the bench in the last game
Odds
Prediction
This feels like a comfortable win for Nagoya with a decent chance of a cleansheet for the home side. For Sorare, I like the Langerak + Nakatani combination. Watch out for Junker who impressed in the first game
Nagoya 2 - 0 Kyoto
Hiroshima vs Niigata
Notes
- I havent seen Morishima in training so he is a risk for this game
- Higuchi was preferred for the opening game and its hard to pick between him and Shichi. Kashiwa is also in full training and his experience also gives the manager options
Notes
- Niigata impressed me in the opening game. They play a decent passing and direct game
- New signing Nescau is pushing for a start. I feel its likely from the bench
Odds
Prediction
Hiroshima should bounce back with a win here. Niigata looked dangerous so I can see the chance of them scoring more than the odds.
Hiroshima 2 - 1 Niigata
Kashiwa vs FC Tokyo
Notes
- No sign of Diego in Kashiwa training pics. No official news & im assuming hes out for this game
- Sasak has made some huge errors not just in the last game but also last season. Currently the manager is sticking by him. Fans are divided about dropping him or letting him develop experience. Morita is the sub keeper and he also has his fair share of limitations. I think Morita will get his chance in the league cup first.
Notes
- Matsuki is with the U20s so will miss this game. I see Abe coming in to replace him
- Morishige is in full training and wants to play this one. There is a risk with him and ive read they may not rush him back esp as Henrique did v well last game.
- Nakagawa also was in training. Ive read conflicting reports from fan blogs that went to the training. One suggests he didnt participate in full training. I am hoping to see an update from the press conference which should be this afternoon and before the deadline.
- Watanabe is a versatile player who can play on both wings. I can see him pushing for a start in this game esp if Nakagawa isnt 100% fit.
Odds
Prediction
Very interesting game. I think FC Tokyo will win as they have enough talent to expose a vulnerable Kashiwa defence
Kashiwa 1 - 2 FC Tokyo
Finish
I hope found this useful!
As always these are just my own views on the situation based on research for each team.
I will be updating the Discord Channel with any info I see that could prove useful all the way to deadline, so keep a look out for that
For Tier 2 and 1 Patreons - dont forget to enter the private league tournament with a chance to win Yamane, JSR etc! More details in my post yesterday here and on Discord
If you have any feedback or queries, just give me a shout on Discord
Good luck!
