GW348 Predicted Lineup - J1 League (Patreon)
Content
Introduction
We only have 1 game this upcoming GW with Shonan Bellmare facing Yokohama FC on Friday night.
As the game is 3 days away, we only have limited info based on the training taken place so far and managers comments. There are no significant injuries or suspensions that I am aware of for this game.
This season, the schedule is a lot friendlier for clubs relative to last season so there should be less need for rotation. Eg Shonan Bellmare will have a 8 days break after this game. Saying that, there is a lot of competition in both squads!
Predicted Lineups
These can also be found on Playsharper website here
Important to note the %s used here and where they are not above 75% it is because I feel there is some risk involved. My main aim with these is to show where risk/potential DNPs are lurking.
I base these %s on info I read from various sources including comments from the manager and reading a lot of local Japanese news coverage/message boards.
These are my own opinion of the situation at each team. I try to be as neutral as possible but we all have biases :) So always do your own research when making picks!
Shonan vs Yokohama FC
Notes
- Started the season with a highly impressive 5-1 win away to Sagan Tosu with Yuki Ohashi scoring a hatrick and Machino assisting a couple of times
- I expect that they will keep a similar looking side as winning momentum is key.
- Some players have more chance than others of rotation - eg Barada -> Nagaki , Nakano -> Hata
- Nothing indicates this will happen at this stage but thats why the %s are a little lower for these players
- Sugioka is on free kicks and some corner kicks. He is an attack minded defender that suits the matrix & is rarely rotated/rested
- Onose also impressed me on is debut and I see alot of potential not just for this game but for the season in general.
Notes
- Hasegawa wasnt in the squad for the first game. This was a surprise as was not just in predicted lineup but considered a key player in all of the Japanese previews I read. For now, its unknown if he picked up an injury or if it was tactical
- He certainly is in training as of yesterday. The manager hasn't given any indication if he will make changes from the first game. For now, I would avoid using or only use in a more speculative team
- Nagai also made a surprise start with Brodersen not in the squad. Similarly to Hasegawa, its not certain if this was tactical or an injury. Brodersen is in training so this game will give clearer indication of if Nagai is indeed he number 1. Some of the comments from the manager do certainly suggest Nagai has been picked after impressing in preseason, especially with his footwork.
- The majority of YFC squad dont have Sorare cards. The most locked in card is Gabriel who is the captain and main CB of the side
