Intro

As kinda expected, the Japan vs Myanmar game was very hard to predict and saw loads of rotation.

Next GW Japan play Syria and it will be equally hard to predict. The game isnt til Tuesday so there is no news from training whatsoever as they just played last night and are flying today.

Group Situation

Japan have won all 5 games easily so far with 5 clean sheets too. This is the last game of this stage.

Predicted Lineup

  • Beat Myanmar 5-0 with a heavily rotated experimental/side

  • Played 3 at the back. Maegawa started in nets

  • Players like Kawamura, Suzuki got a half and Soma came on and got an assist.

  • Syria are the best team outside Japan in the group. They need a result to get through to the next round. Saying that, Japan are heavy favourites still

  • Game isnt til Tuesday night and there will lots of unknowns as training/press conferences will happen after the deadline.

  • My general confidence with the lineup is again low! This is mainly based on hunch and past things the manager has done.

  • I think there will be near full rotation from the team that started vs Mynamar. I also think we see changes ingame/half time again

  • For players the manager knows well like Tomiyasu and Endo there is less reason to try out

  • Ive stuck with the "classic" formation but could see 3 at the back again

  • Ive not considered Maekawa. I think they will change it and have Osako as slight favourite based on previous training.
