A little update on how things will work moving forward. (Patreon)

Hey everyone. I'm making this post to inform you all of some changes happening with the game. Nothing grim, I promise.

Chapter Changes

Moving forward, chapters will be released in 3 parts. This wasn't an easy decision to make, as I wanted to always release updates with a lot of content in them. But smaller parts mean less time between updates and more opportunities to get feedback or add something between chapters.

While the content in each update will be less, there are still a lot of scenes that will be included. Take a look at Chapter 3, and you'll immediately notice how much more content that one chapter had compared to the initial release of the game or even Chapter 2.

The timetable right now is as follows:
Chapter 4 - Part 1 -> Chapter 4 - Part 2 -> Chapter 4 - Part 3 -> Chapter 5- Part 1 etc.
And on and on...

You get the idea. Now, there might be instances where chapters will be split into more parts, either because of the amount of content (especially in later chapters) or in the case of not having updated the game in a while. I don't want a Chapter 3 situation ever again, so it's better to release a small update quicker and then finish up the content with a big update later.
Okay, that's that for the updates.

Special Events Changes

Not really changes, but more like how they're going to work from now on. The biggest thing is that characters who appear in Special Events will have a 3-chapter cooldown before they reappear again, and the combination of characters will never be the same.

Let's use Elyn as an example. She was in the first-ever Special Event, which appeared in Chapter 2. This means that she won't appear again until Chapter 6. I know that sounds like a lot, but I want Special Events to be unique every time, and having the same characters in it constantly will make them, well... not special.
That's where the other change comes into play. Aphrodite was the other character of that event, and to keep things different, she won't be able to appear with Elyn in a Special Event ever again. That doesn't include special appearances, like Aphrodite and Rakess in the Chapter 3 Special Event. These can still happen.

To make up for this change, I'm thinking of releasing a 2nd Special Event in some chapters that I feel don't have a lot of content. This event will be shorter than the actual Special Event, but, it will still be something to look forward to. This is still something I have to consider, so I'm not 100% sure if I do it in the end. I will keep this idea for the future since, with more chapters released and more characters introduced, the combinations of the Special Event will increase.

Before anyone asks, Special Events will appear in the 2nd part of every chapter.

Monthly Image Additions

Now to the monthly images. Starting this month, Veil will be available as a character in the polls. This includes the Monthly Image polls and the Special Event polls.
Side characters will not be available right now because there's only one. Once more appear, I will add them as a single option. Which side character will appear in the final image depends on ideas, suggestions, or the number of times an individual character has appeared.

TLDR

• Chapters are now split into 3 parts and every update will be one part.
• Characters will have a 3-chapter cooldown for Special Events.
• Characters that appear in Special Event can't appear with someone they appeared before.
• Veil is available in the Monthly Images and the Special Event polls.
• Side characters will be available in the future.
