Joey, I think I just found the most "yikes" manga ever; it's called マンガ 嫌韓流. It was apparently so controversial that both The New York Times and The Times of London wrote articles about it (linking both below). From what little I've read....yeah, it's pretty fucking bad. Thank you Joey for recommending me Oyasumi PunPun on March's Q&A when I asked about what was the biggest impact on your life. The themes and messages throughout the manga was exceptional. A month ago, Anthony Vincent (the creator of "TenSecondSongs" on YouTube) did a rebranding on his YouTube channel to get away from only 10 seconds songs content. Have you thought about going that route instead of splitting your attention and time with another channel? I honestly believe people watch you for your personality and want to see other contents YOU want to put out. So, I'm planning on moving to Japan after college, but I've not settled on what job I want to pick up once I get there. I know many American ex-pats like myself pick up English teaching jobs, but I can't see myself doing that long-term. I'm studying Japanese Studies as my major, so language issues won't be a problem. Alright, this one may seem a bit strange, but have there instances where you bought multiple versions of a game and 100%ed them to show support and to replay the game again but with some new quality of life improvements? For me it is the 3 versions of The World Ends With You, which are the vanilla release, Solo Remix for the IOS, and Final Remix for the Switch.

Now for my question, the Monogatari series literally changed my life for the better when I was at my lowest and now I wish to be able to read it in Japanese. I guess this is sort of a semi-serious question but I'm currently in art school, I honestly feel like my more ""anime-esque"" work won't be taken seriously. (And I sort of wonder when I might see manga/illustration taken more seriously in academic spheres lmaoo.) Honestly one of my biggest influences as an artist is Rumiko Takahashi but if I say that I worry that the reaction I'd get wouldn't be positive. sorry for the long message but, I'm planning on moving to move to japan after college. I'm going to get a masters in English and an associates in Japanese. once I'm there I'm going to continue studying to get my PhD in creative writing. My end goal is to become an author but I also want to work with a translator to help make some manga of some kind as sort of a side project.
