Hello, guys! It's been a while.

As we navigate our way on an ever-increasing amount of parallel and concurring projects, we recently managed to make a kind of unique but at the same time familiar new kind of game for Strange Girl Studios.

Let me introduce...

loanshock

(yep, it's lowercased, the opposite of PATTERN SCREAMERS which is uppercased)

So, what is this game again?

Well... we wanted to make a game that was set in Asia and has Asian folklore as part of its theme.

In loanshock, you take the role of Faye, a 21-year-old college student who got an On-The-Job training job in a remote city. Her job is simple: manage a lending shop for this mysterious and remote city full of mysterious and weird individuals.

The catch is that some of this city's inhabitants are supernatural in nature, of course, inspired by Asian folklore. I won't spoil the game's lore just yet, though.

The core gameplay so far is similar to Horny Recruiter and Naughty Laundry, but we plan to add so much more! We really want to expand on the "lending" mechanic and really get you a sense of the consequence of not choosing the right client.

Of course, we're open to ideas, suggestions, and anything!

Anyway, here's the link to a quick and short prototype of loanshock:

Wow, you guys have started another project? It's incredible that you can make content of such high quality whilst working on multiple projects at the same time! Keep up the good work!

I must agree, too many projects risks finishing none.

Personally.. I like the idea to create lots and lots project with a good quality and nice artwork but.. I think that is important to complete actual project and concentrate to complete and set improvements in games that are near to completation.
