As we move closer and closer to the end of the ideation and design phases, we are also getting a bit more concerned and worried about what to actually do for Lovecraft Locker in terms of visuals and art style.

We do have at least "something in mind" about what to do and just think "fvck it", it would hurt to actually get feedback from the awesome people that keeps these projects alive.

So, what do you guys prefer for the overall visuals and art style of Lovecraft Locker (including future games)?

Note: To provide some context, let's divide the game in terms of artistic sections.

1.) We'll call this the "Gameplay Art Style"

The Gameplay Art Style includes all gameplay related art like the area backgrounds, area objects, locker, chibi girl sprites, etc.

2.) Next, we'll call this the "Lewd Scene Art Style"

It should be self-explanatory.

3.) Lastly, we'll call this the "Cutscene Art Style"

Basically the visual novel aspect of the game.

Here's a quick visual reference:

So, I'll repeat my question:

So, what do you guys prefer for the overall visuals and art style of Lovecraft Locker (including future games)?

Myriad

I actually really like the Lust gameplay art. The hell gameplay art (to me) feels close enough to the same that I was expecting it to be a new level in LCL, if you remove the angled view. New lewdscene or the direction of hell lewdscene art looks good to me. It's supposed to be the prize of not dying or being found out, so more detailed or refined characters feels right. I'm not a cutscene guy; you do you boo.
