Girl in the Attic Remastered! (Patreon)

It's been 4 months since Girl in the Attic was made and released here on Itch.

I KNOW NO ONE ASKED FOR THIS... but I've been ITCHING to do a complete overhaul of the Girl in the Attic for some time now as it was done pretty carelessly due to the jam, which made it really seem unpolished.

NOW, we have the REMASTERED!!!

It didn't take me that much to make the original Girl in the Attic, so it was unsurprising that it didn't take me that much to make the remastered version from scratch as well since I know every each of the base codes myself.

Here's an immediate comparison of the two versions:

I suppose the most significant improvement is the text rendering part of the game. In the original version, the "skipping" part of the text is all messed up when you try to play the game faster:

In the new version, you can already notice a much better phasing despite trying to play the game faster.

I also added a few more subtle changes, such as:

An animated main menu:

A slicker load and save system:

A functional settings menu:

and an early Achievements system:
